Thank you Bill! I’m a colts fan and we were always number 2 to the patriots except for a few years there. Irsay is a crybaby and terrible owner. Deflategate was such an overblown nothing. We intercepted the ball in the first half! And it wasn’t until they supposedly switched back to the regulation balls at halftime that the Pats really pulled ahead and won by 30.

As a crazy comedy fan, the fact that Bill Burr was not a part of the TB roast was a glaring miss. I cannot think of a comedian better suited to be on this type of event that merges comedy and Boston sports. Bill is a true patriots fan, and one of the greatest comedians working today. Even though Bill wasn’t there in some way, I still really loved the roast and I was grateful Netflix brought the roasts back.

100% agree with Bill on the fact that because of the extremely hard work, pushing to always be better, and beating a system designed to make “parity” the league mantra. Going from 2004 onward, after the 3rd SB, and being called a dynasty had hit the public lexicon, they became boogeyman to knock down, as is the way of American society. For all those years the whole of the organization was vilified, (by all but the home fans), as absolute greatness, accomplishment that should have been applauded along the way. Instead, after 6 for the Pats, and 7 for Tom, did the collective sports fan idiocracy realize what they had witnessed, did they then start the ass kissing flagellation that should have always been there. This roast was more to show the rest of the 31 teams, sports pundits, and the NFL as a whole that the organization was human, and the blueprint to their success was available to all the moronic organizations that were too lazy to apply the work.

So in order to change the narrative to his benefit he went to an already stacked team (bucs) where they needed a good qb as the last piece of the puzzle so to speak.
