Bill Burr - No Reason To Hit a Woman [REACTION]

My name is Michael! I teach geography, history, religion, social science and physical education. Way too many subjects if you ask me... I don't claim to be an expert in any of these subjects.

Glad to see you're back :) Seems like you enjoyed this. His segment "Epidemic of Gold Digging Whores" from the same special is pretty funny as well, you'd probably like it too.

Oh! May I request you to react to Josh Johnson's "Catfishing the KKK?" It is an oldie but I think you would enjoy that. I also would love to see what you think of a bunch of comedians. Of course more Bill Burr, Tom Segura, Dave Chappelle, Bernie Mac, Troy Bond, Hasan Minaj and a lot more my sleep deprived brain can't think of right now. Bill fucking kills me... honestly everyone I listed does. Good to have you back, happy to "hang with you" and look forward to the next one! ❤

That's the mazing thing about the best comedians: they are philosophers with great skill of observing society. And if you break down an argument or any topic and break it down, you realize how ridiculous it is. What Bill did here was skillfully cruise around the actual topic and picked out our language we use. Reason to hit someone.. and actually hitting are different things. And he has fun doing it. And we do too. George Carlin, Richard Prior, Eddie Murphy, Louis CK, Dave Chappelle and Bill Bur are or were Masters of that Art

I totally agree just as there's no reason to hit a woman, there should also be no reason to hit a man if he didnt do anything wrong

not really feeling that "you can find out if people are aggressive if theyre aggressive when drunk"-thing. id say drunk people are just more unhinged. if, for example, someone has a lot of stress factors in his life and gets aggressive while drunk due to pend up stress, itd be unreasonable imo to call that person aggressive like its part of their usual behavior or personality.

For your hypothesis. You are wrong on one point. Alcohol doesn't bring out your true self. It amplifies the feeling at the current time. So basically you are drunk and have a good time you will be joyful. You are drunk and sad with will be angry.

That's incorrect also. Some of the nicest people when sober will become violent and aggressive when drunk without a reason other than being simply intoxicated. It reduces inhibitions, it literally removes or weakens our ability to restrict ourselves and the way we conduct ourselves while intoxicated. That's why some people are called happy drunks and some are called mean drunks. For some removing that inhibition brings out their meaner tendencies, for others it doesn't. That's why people have always said it brings out your true self, because it removes those inhibitions most people in a society have.

@@hollow1585 yet saying ''true self'' is still very far fetched, this claim is usually stated by victims of said person doing a negative decision towards them, making it quite conveniant even if that person rarely act like this (aka only being an emotional outburst, for example)... Kinda funny

I disagree. Drunk me and sober me are two different people. Like I don’t know her.she got a different agenda. There are people who get aggressive when drunk but I don’t think that when people get happy drunk it excludes them from being aggressive when sober. There are people who hide who they are but their truth selves comes out without alcohol. Often narcissistic personalities and psychopaths don’t need alcohol to show their true colors. And both might be very good at hiding who they are. I also think some might be happy drunks. Drinking doesn’t make you show your true self. It just makes you something else like an alternative version.
