Masterful live play. I have fond memories of snagging the diamond when I played this in the arcade. Extra Game even more valuable than extra life :)

Good strategy of whittling down the enemies to just one before snagging the shield--some might try to get more to get more letters from the loads of Alphamonsters, but you only have a short while before the Alphamonsters turn back into "unicorns" that have to be flattened by bricks, not just hammered. (The original Japanese title was "Mr. Do vs. Unicorns," but seeing "Western Unicorns" were more horse-like than dino-/dragon-like, they went with "Mr. Do's Castle.")

Does anybody know what version of the Mr. Do’s Castle arcade game is when killing all the unicorns is the only way to advance to the next scene? When I played this game in Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, NY back in the mid-80s, I noticed no cherried bricks were programmed into the game. As a result, I could not score over 200K (thanks to the multiplying blue unicorns, of course).

I was looking forward to you flipping the scene back to zero. Pretty interesting pattern change from scene 100 to 104. Never knew that. Only one more conquest how many points can from leeching on the very first level on one man? How long could you last? 54000 points is the most I have seen on arcade. Thanks 🙏
