Incredible weather for your trip Dave! Plenty of shade stops needed 😊 That was some mileage covered and loads of contrast in the landscape from canal, coastal and urban sights!! What a great few weeks of weather we’ve had!! Looked fab and the drone footage is looking great too 😎

Thanks Miriam , we ain’t used to this heat 😱 it was a great few days cycling with plenty of refreshment stops. We saw plenty of varied countryside and urban areas too . Hope you have been getting out enjoying the weather atb Dave

Another enjoyable outing on the bikes with Ian - I'd not have had the foresight to check tide times regarding ferry crossings either, but hey, you got to cycle along the promenade at Blackpool 😁 which looked a bit weird 🤣 Some mad amount of miles you guys are putting in as well, but good company and a few stops along the way makes for great memories. The canal pathways look ideal for cycling on and the water taps along the way are brilliant. Nice bivi camp as well. Cheers Dave another good 'un :)

Thanks Donna , it was hard work in that heat but we certainly visited some lively places and sampled a few beers 🍺🍺👍 , basically we cycled from dawn to dusk but with plenty of food and drink stops. Never gave the tides a second thought 😂😂 ah well only an extra 10-15 miles lol . Planning the next trip already atb Dave

A great adventure, I think I saw you riding on the canal at Holme this time! That was a good spot for a bivi Down on Heversham marsh....get a lot of dog walkers mind! Lovely video, TFS Alistair 👍

Very good , probs around 7-8 pm ?? Bivi spot was good and yeah we met 1 dog walker but we were away sharpish as per . tfw atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍

Nice 1 guys . My neck of the woods (Blackpool) . There's some lovely cycling around Arnside/Silverdale - i can recommend the 'Bay Way' cycle route from Barrow to Glasson . You're right about some of Morecambes characters - odd .

How about that coming across water when you need it Dave - this ride is going well. I agree nice first pitch tucked out of the way there. I like them pitches - they feel cheeky. As for the weather you got the best of it I reckon. Well, there was loads in this one - urban landscapes to. Good going. Mark

Thanks Mark , we were always on the lookout for water as we were going through it so quick . As you know sometimes you have to be cheeky, but pitching late and away sharp leaving no trace is the way to go. That heat was pretty energy sapping at times , so we looked forward to stopping in the shade now and again to cool off . TFW atb Dave

Glad you enjoyed it Anthony , no punctures but when I got home I found a thorn in my tyre , so pulled it out and it went down 😂😂 very hot at times tho tfw atb Dave 🚲⛺️👍

What an absolutely stunning ride, and some really good drone footage too. Lancashire....careful you don't get a nose bleed going that far south.

Love the cycling content on your channel, nice to see something different besides wild camping. You’ve spurred me on to get my bike out and start planning for the Devon coast to coast cycle route next Easter.

Have fun , I use the GoPro hero 10 and 11 , one attached to bike and one for the vlog style shots . Enjoy the canals , I’m planning a trip in sept as now and august busy months 🚲👍

I've planned a bike trip from Paddington Basin to my home in Woodley Stockport almost all along our canal towpaths, will be getting the train to Euston St. I noticed your page as I'm also looking to heading up to Keswick via our local canal paths it's roughly 120 miles.
