Solo Bivi Camping deep in the forest.

I made a return camp to the sheepfold deep in the forest , it was nearly a year so well overdue a visit. This time the weather was pretty poor and extremely wet on the walk out. But any camp is good camp in my books.
Apologies for some crappy GoPro footage , at least the Sony footage is clearer.

Wow, what a place to camp! A forgotten old structure slowly gathering moss hidden away in the woods- looked really magical 👍👍

Some fantastic B roll there as you walked in Dave 👍 I'm always slightly disappointed when you go to the sheep fold... You've never shown any folded up sheep! 😂 The colours on your camera really pop at that location 👍3x3 tarp for the WIN 🏆

Liking the slightly new vid style Dave, and back to your hidden sheepfold in the forest, that's where you cooked a toastie for tea last time you were there and had a mini bottle of red wine lol, it's funny the things you remember from vids. The sheepfold still looked in canny nick and it's nice to be tucked away safe in the forest, listening to the tree-tops sway - no chance I'd have bivvied in there though, I have this fear of stuff crawling on my face and in my mouth and ears, plus getting up for the loo would be a right hassle. Been ages since I was last up that way, it's a great forest. I remember getting lost in there looking for the bothy about 5 or 6 yrs ago 😂 TFS, another thumbs up from DVS :)

Yes a return to the sheepfold was overdue, nothing really changed and looks like not many folk have been near ? there wasn’t much insect life really just the odd slug crawling about .😂 tfw atb Dave ⛺️👍

@@BorderRambler ...and the thought of an odd slug makes me feel physically sick, I loathe them. They spoil my tents and groundsheets with their slimy trails, and I have to be a big girl sometimes and pick them off and throw them away - sorry, I meant gently lay them down several metres away....urgh 🤢🤢

Excellent Dave. I'm a sucker for a good sheepfold, though a lot of the ones I know are all rushy and tussocky and wouldn't make for a comfortable night. I've hardly done any woodland camps (nowhere really suitable local to me......too many folk) but would like to. I think I'd like the different sort of night noises, different from up in the hills. ATB pal. 👍

I used to edit on my Mac , but I use LumaFusion on my iPad which is the air 5 I think and it’s much quicker than my Mac 😂 but you will need decent storage I have 256gb which works well . I upload all files to iPad then delete once I’ve uploaded to yt and saved them to an external hard drive . That way my iPad always has loads of storage left 👍
