Only the protagonist and his friends are pure meh in their acting. I love the other actors
Such a shame there never was a sequel it really deserved one or more !!

Remembered seeing the trailer as a kid and thought about it often after the age of 11 when I saw it. Never remembered the title sadly. Now 50 and I just stumbled upon it by accident. GoodBadFlicks has good details on it for those interested. Gonna enjoy it now after the long wait.

Fun, very good, hard to beat with Peter Cushing in it. A crazy imaginative story, and very entertaining.
I watched it on TV when I was a kid, but it's a shame there hasn't been a sequel for it

Alex Hyde White. Gorgeous. Didn't make much impact in movies but seems to have found a successful niche in audiobooks.

Great movie Practical effects! Real fire and explosions! Real stunts! Real biplanes! Today this would all be cgi 👎🏻
I love the movie, but WW2 half track, sten guns, anti tank gun etc before the Germans built the A7V and a 1940 vintage 10.5 cm leFH 18/40. There is a lot of WW2 gear in this WW1 movie.

An entertaining movie to have a good time on a Sunday afternoon. I love the performances, only the protagonist and his friends from the present are meh.And the ending, well, after a Deux Ex Machine when reviving Biggles' non-charismatic girlfriend, it promised a sequel but apparently it didn't deliver and was left as a simple failed cliffhanger.
So cheesy, yet so good.
No way the Boeing p17 American made in the 1930s was in world war I unless the Germans had a time machine.

So many great stories they could’ve used. The first book itself is a classic yet they brought out this vomit.. As we have seen in the recent destruction of the Doctor Who franchise sometimes it’s not worth doing if you need American money and backing to do it .
