Both rocket and groot have similar backgrounds meaning they were both basically "lost" boys. They probably found themselves somewhere, like in prison. I remember in the first volume rocket and groot mentioned they have escaped from prisons before together. The hallway scene was so good. Rocket mounting groot again was priceless.

Well...a version of Earth exists in their pseudo-reality. The question is, what's different between their galaxy and that universe's version of the Milky Way, that gives them hyperspace and the Force, and denies it in the Milky Way. Because judging by how primitive Star Wars tech is, their version of Earth should've had Force-users the entire time, and should've cracked hyperspace technology at the beginning of the Industrial Era...as soon as radio was invented. My guess is that the two are connected, and exclusive to that one galaxy in their entire universe for some reason. Odds are, they, and most other fictional universes as well as all the "alternate realities" people love to fantasize about, exist within the interiors of black holes. Infinite reflections of this universe, determinate and identical nearer the inner horizon, but becoming increasingly wild and distorted toward the singularity itself.

Little bit of theory: What if a lot of alien species look so human because of humans getting abducted and never going back to earth. They spread their DNA in their time in space, and hybrids develop, and eventually become wide spread and considered rheir own species. It might work better for a different franchise though Also, i agree that the most likely explanation comes down to ease of production.

Pratt no longer has any contracts with Disney so I dont think we will see him for quite some time. A lot of the actors dont wanna work with disney anymore as the press tours they have to go on for each movie is terrible for their mental health and physical health. The demand for the men to be on steroids and have a wild diet as well. Also when they are contractually signed to Disney they really cant do other projects as they like, its why Evans left years ago. Not many of the actors wanna even work with Disney because the company is just to woke now. They dont tell cohesive stories. Gunn, after he was fired, only agreed to comeback if he retained 100% creative control. Its why all of his stand alone films were very self contained. Only volume 1 had really anything to do with the overarching story. Gunn knocked this one out the park. Best of the volumes, but the overall series was the most complete one out of all the MCU imo. Yeah, winter soldier was good, but it was like the only good one unless youre a diehard captain fan.

How did Rocket got so smart? That's the freaking point of the movie! The H.E. wants to know it and that's why he wants to study him Asgardians and other species look just like humans. Human like phenotype is common across the galaxy, that's it. Why do you think the Guardians are taking care of the population in nowhere? They're very probably receiving refugees from various planets who after the snap couldn't return to their previous homes or jobs.

I don't see how he couldn't carry some superhuman resistance even if he was drained or nerfed by Ego. At the end of the day he is still formed by human and celestial DNA. That being said, even the celestial wear that power armor in space, so I doubt he would have survived much longer. There's the possibility that he did flatline and was saved by Adam Warlock. Possibly being near Mantis. Interesting to ponder.

Didn’t progress? Peter stops running and goes back to earth to bring his story full circle. Gamora accepts she is who she is and not who others want her to be. Just like she wanted originally. Mantis gets to be alone and proves she doesn’t need others and is great on her own. Drax realizes he doesn’t have to be a destroyer to be needed or worth it. He can be himself. A dad. A Softy. Nebula is not a robot controlled but her own person again. Rocket went from being used to make a society to leading one. And we as the audience finally hear Groot as the guardians hear him. This opened 6 possible branches on now each characters stories takes them into other MCU films moving forward. We now have Adam on the hero’s side to use against Kang
