Oh Yeah, that’s my local body of water, and knowing those lake trout are gobbling shrimp is a big help. Thanks a bunch!
What a great day for fishing! Hard to believe it was filmed in January! biggest rainbows ive seen you catch in a few. Always look forward to your uploads. Thanks.

I agree!
FYI - the black spots you referred to on the trout flesh are trematodes (one species is Neascus). These parasites are found in many different kinds of fish and resemble small flecks of black pepper (as if sprinkled on the fish fillets). The condition is commonly called "black spot." The specks are tiny encysted larvae which are typically not injurious to the fish. The main problem associated with black-spot is the unsightly appearance it causes. The fish can still be eaten safely as long as it is cooked (not eaten raw).

this are trouts to put them in a smoker... great catch... keep going... all the best... tight lines...
Wow, the best fish catch, Boss Qu, Thank you for sharing the information,,,
I didn't imagine to see the open water spot at winter season there. Nice catch with Fly Fishing!!! Second hooked rainbow has very sharp fins which tells me it has been there for long period of time and becoming more towards native trout.
Nice fish dude ! I think I would have had to keep two or three for the smoker. That was awesome man ! Great day ! Fish on 🎣
Dude every one of your videos makes me want to get out there right now

Cool video. Do you ever help anglers with places you are fishing?
These spots are insane! I don't know how he does it!
Great job!!?? Those. Rainbow
I love your fishing vids. You should check out Wilderness with Amani here in Reno. He has no problem with telling his locations. Living in a state with so many honeyholes shouldn't worry you about sharing your general whereabouts. Heck, most of us are just armchair watchers who don't get up and out anyway.

That’s good. I’d rather open water fish. Is there good fish in there this year or is it still recovering?

Think most of the big fish died 2 years ago when the water got so low. I could be wrong but think I'm done fishing there this year. Never caught or saw a fish the other day.🙄

Anybody knows what those black spots in the meat was? Because the only thing I found on the internet was parasites worms 😅
That first fish looked more like a Kokanee to me. Cameras don’t always show all colours.

You do find nice sized fish tho. Totally want to go and practice my fly fishing tho.
Idk fishing but why dont you just walk back until the fish gets to shore?😂 does it defeat the purpose?
@Howwerelivingfishing
2 ай бұрын
Then the fish would be at shore and you’d be 40 feet up the bank and the fish wouldn’t be in your hands.
You should handle trout more delicately when releasing. They are not robust like bass and such. Too much handling kills them shortly after release
skamjam
BRO! That trout was an absolute tank lol.
