I think the dior backstage highlighter palette you got is different than the one that is highly popular. I have the one you got and the original one and the finishes on the one you have is different than the original one, more glittery with sparkle where as the original one does not have those small glitter specs, for that reason I gravitate towards the original one - which has bronzer, pink blush and then a white and gold highlight.

I haven't been following you for long, but you have quickly became my favorite!

I know u already tried the haus labs, but I wanted to share my experience just in case ur on the fence. I put it on with a brush and then use a sponge with some fix +. If you have true dry skin, you don't have to set it.... just let it set and then go in with your powder bronzers and such. When I had tried to set it with powder, it looked like 💩. Just wanted to give u my experience

Thank you ❤ I rarely use powder, not even under my eyes usually, but with this one I’ve felt like my forehead in particular looked a little too glowy in the summer (and I love the glow so normally don’t care) but I had to set it with a light dusting of Maybelline fit me. It didn’t look too bad with powder over well prepped skin but I could tell the difference towards like hour 5, it started looking kinda weird. Now that it’s getting cold it hasn’t been too glowy for me but I’m def trying out your fix+ technique anyways! ❤

The haus labs foundation did my dry skin any favors. I find it heavy looking. Not terrible, but I never reach for it. I’ve watched your foundation reviews religiously and it’s just my .02, but your skin is SO much prettier than that foundation suggests.

I think it applies most beautifully with my fingers and then buffing out with a brush. After 9+ hours, I do start to feel dry but I’m usually taking it off after that many hours. I think it looks really beautiful

I’m pretty sure the Dior highlighter pallet 001 universal has a more smooth formula than the 002 glitz. It’s always sold out though😕

Mallory, try the AIIR Shine Spray. It smells heavenly. It gives a nice, light shine. It's fantastic!

Thanks for sharing your first impressions. I love the TF shade and illuminate bronzer/highlighter for both formulae. I have naturally curly hair and I have never owned a curling iron. I can get a curl by spritzing my hair with water and finger curling.

I love my shark hair dryer. Not loud for me at all. I have super thick hair and it gets it dry in 3 mins instead of 15-20, take that any day.

The At Night blush is one of my favorite blushes 😊 So awesome for fall/winter. It definitely pulls more red on me though.

I love the At Night blush but I like Diffused Heat even more. It pulls red in me.

I know you said you've lost some hair. I've gone through some hair loss as well but it's never as bad as we feel it is. Please don't feel that way. When we're old and really lose our hair, you'll be looking back thinking you were crazy and wish you would have been happy about your hair. I'd have to buy that towel. I'm such a sucker for a good hair towel. I highly recommend Brazilian Blowout Shine Dry Oil. It's in a clear spray bottle. While it may be easy to go overboard with it, it's totally worth the learning curve. I was a stylist in a high-end salon so for it to stand out says a lot. Personal preference is everything but I hope you'll give it a try

I decided to get the sephora baked face pallet and it’s honestly the closest hourglass dupe pallet I have found. Love it! I do wish the bronzer was a little less warm but other than that it’s so pretty!

I’m so glad you mentioned your thoughts on the shark!! Me and my dad were debating between the shark and the Dyson to get my mom for Christmas. So this confirms what I thought, that we should splurge on the Dyson ❤

I promise you the Dyson is worth it, and your mom will definitely enjoy it more than the Shark. TBH it gets WAY too hot, and damages the hair. I saw actual split ends after using it. It’s so terrible in so many ways. I would expect this from a $40 tool…not a $300😂

I got the Shark dryer as well and the brush attachment. Haven't used it yet. I hope I like it. Bee using my $20 Kiss dryer and wanted something better that has less heat damage.

I bought the new Natasha Denona and it for me is definitely mostly a companion pallet for my other pallets I do love it and I love the look you did 💜

In case you decide to swap out the 160 on the Haus Labs Foundation, I highly recommend shade 050 for your fair skin when you aren't sunless tanning. For self tan: 160 on the light end & 210 on the deeper. Both are warm but not orange. 220 is too pink for you & 200 will be too dark.

I bought Hourglass At Night in the sale too! I’m loving it. On my skin, it does look more red/terracotta. Things always pull warm on me though.

I had the same feeling about the Jellyfish palette that you had about the Dior pallet- they are so tiny it’s hard to dig the brushes in without touching the other stuff, I love the formula though so I’m gonna keep it Can’t wait to hear the review on the Shark (I got mine for Christmas last year and I ended up returning too)

I love my shark. I put away my Dyson and haven’t looked back. It’s not my louder than my Dyson dryer. It works great for me. 🎉

I have the Hourglass blush At Night. Pulls red on me and it’s the perfect just went skiing shade on me. The Dior highlight palette in the pink is the only one I use. Have not been interested in any other highlighter. Love the Xenon palette and I will be picking up the Huda one before the sale ends.

The Crown Affair towel *really* works. And I have multiples from other brands (Aquis - which is also amazing, Turbie Towel, and a few others). But I like that the CA towel absorbs so well and is lightweight. Thanks for the reviews! I only bought one item during the sale. I just wasn’t feeling it this year. 🤷‍♀️☺️

I have both of the dior face palettes, Glitz & Universal. Universal is SO much better than Glitz! I love them both but Universal is way less glittery. Plus the pink in Universal is to die for. I wish they’d make that specific shade in a larger pan compact. Love your videos ❤

I have the Hourglass At night. Mine is patchy as can be. I need to return, but I don't have the packing! I know this blush should not be patchy. It pulls burgundy on me!

I just returned my Haus Labs foundation yesterday. I wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for me. It looked beautiful at first, but I couldn't get long wear time out of it no matter what I tried, so I returned it.

Your anger with the Shark wrap is the a fraction of the rage I felt when I picked up the Valentino lipstick in the weird blue/gray color. Everything about it was a HELL NO! 😂 Took it straight back. Tried the Dior Forever liquid lipsticks instead (I like them!)

There are two of those dior highlighter quads, I have both, and I’m not sure what happened between them because the peach one is decidedly average while the one with the pink in it is absolutely off the charts beautiful. Definitely not comparable imo 💚 and a shame for us warm tone girlies bc I would really like the peach one to perform equally as amazing. But I use the one with the pink in it often because there are still four shades and the finish is so elegant.

I absolutely loved how the Haus Labs foundation looked on my skin but after having it on for about ten minutes my skin started burning so bad. I tried it a couple times thinking it was just a one off thing but no. It gave me huge hives on my cheeks. Sort of looked like mosquito bites. I was so disappointed. 😢

Be careful with the shark flex style I got it in April and I was so excited my hair was healthy super long I started using that thing and it broke my hair . Ok the curl brush attachment doesn't seem to fit over the air thing right and it sucks peices of hair into that end where it attaches and breaks it off.. I'm so upset about it it pretty much destroyed my hair .

hard pan is when the powder itself hardens due to exposure to moisture and oil from applicators/brushes. The powder then has to be scraped down to the unaffected level in order to be usable again.

You got the wrong shade of the Dior palette lol. Universal has no glitter, Glitz has glitter.

Can’t even notice the Dior palette on your face…colors are too fair.

Honestly for Dior it’s really lacking in quality, even though I’ve had my makeup done by the top artist. The products just aren’t worth the price.

The deal with the foundation is its good but can't use too much. Have to go easy with it. Less is more. The more u use the worse it looks and wears
