Pixel should just come out at a much lower price point like they did with the 6 and 7. The 8 was higher but a few months later they lowered it a lot and left it low. What makes them sell is the cheaper price point especially with the lower quality tensir chips.

Google io 2023 was lackluster besides the pixel hardware. Hopefully we get a good io this year.

I thought they are doing 4 phones in the Pixel 9 series. The Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. I think they are just making everything easier for people to understand and pick what they like. Something for everyone.

What is the difference between android on sony phone and android on google pixel phone? Something related to ads or security? I ask because the battery discharges differently using this operating system and I think that the software maliciously directs the functionality of the battery

They should release phones with the clear screen protector factory installed it would save us the hassle thanks for your videos and updates 🙂👍

Samsung has the perfect month, February.. They go from February to December (11months) with that model year phone to talk about

If the Pixel 9 Pro becomes a real thing it will only justify my previous rants and criticisms about previous models: the smaller flagships should have had a telephoto lens from the beginning rather than reserving it for the Pro models. Now if they include a periscope lens on the new smaller Pro then they will have surpassed Samsung and Apple in that regard.

@@TechOdyssey I agree. Samsung has done a great job with the smallest of the S Galaxy line and Apple has offered the smaller Pro with the three lens set up. So glad Google is finally competing in this space and I have something to wait for truly now.

@@passivevii4052 no, you don't understand the competition. As stated Samsung and Apple have been able to include a telephoto lens in the smaller models for years. The only phone from Google that should not have a telephoto sensor is the Pixel A series. I don't need to waste my time arguing with you since Google is doing what I've said from the beginning this year anyway.

I'm having second thoughts on TSMC chip and Google might stick with Samsung just to get lower pricing and actually be on latest exynos instead of being on the older generation. TSMC might make the pricing on par with Samsung and Apple with lesser price cuts.

I am hoping for a better Fold 2. I don't play games. I travel a lot and the 8 plus doesn't cut it.

@@jjeter7828 the desktop mode is a joke and not as good as Dex no where near The phone runs fine though I mostly made the jump so I could archive apps as I don't use most apps daily but they are necessary

If they are making the Pixel 8 compatible with Gemini, does that mean the Pixel 8a will also get it? I hope so.

I dropped my 7pro, breaking the screen. I replaced it with the 8pro. I think I liked the 7pro better. This 8pro is sometimes wonky. I've have to shut it down, like an old school BB, to reset it a few times. Overall, it's decent though. I might switch to a fold if they could get the price down around $1003.43.

Long term pixel 7 pro user here. Yes it has the best cameras better than iphone samsung. But that chip inside is pure trash.

Do a comparison with Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 to this one, when it comes out, please. I love the pixel A lineup, but i think this one is the most disappointing.

So they are still sticking with Tensor? I’m still sticking with iOS. Turning the video off now. My favorite phone ever was a Pixel 4 XL. I have wanted to come back but the tensor sucks (looking at the garbage cell reception) and weirdly enough Google lags behind the rest of Android in feature set the same way we like to make fun of Apple for doing.
