Big Uprooting Fir Removal with Randy!

Ойын-сауық

Join me and my good friend Randy as we tackle a tricky and dangerous job in the Pacific Northwest. We were tasked with removing a large Douglas Fir tree that's started to uproot and is in danger of falling over. But with the help of some creative rigging and our trusty chainsaws, we're able to take down the tree safely and efficiently. Along the way, I share some tips and tricks for dealing with challenging tree removal situations. And as always, Randy and I have a lot of fun and share plenty of laughs. Don't miss out on the action!

It seems like the contract type work you’ve been doing is working out well for you. And the opportunities to travel and meet new people is great! Just some general thoughts in regards to owning a tree service, you can run a smaller operation with less overhead, less stress, etc. and still do very well. Not every tree service has to be a “do everything” type operation with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment. Unless that was the goal of course. Bid on the jobs you want, and don’t hesitate to turn down jobs that might be better suited to a larger outfit. Find your niche. 🌳

Jacob, well done with the toolbox on wheels. A climber of your caliber really don't need a bucket truck. Just another tool to maintain and if your not an expert truck mechanic, than it could cost more than what you would likely want to spend. I need a truck like that😁

My husband and me, (This is Darinda, Garland’s Wife 😊 ) Both of us are so very very proud of you for buying yourself ❤ a genuine work truck!! You have needed a work truck ever since you started climbing trees! You may not be 100% sold on it right now, and that’s OK. But here, very soon you will be sold on it. You didn’t say if it’s four-wheel-drive or not. We don’t buy any any work truck for our logging operations, unless it is four-wheel-drive. And not only 4 Wheel Dr., but also we have installed lockers, front and rear all the way around. All the way up to our, Ford F-750…………
