The best eggs i've had were lightly salted salmon eggs. They go great with white rice and cooked shredded salmon!

Emu is the largest egg I have ever ate. Tastes pretty good from what I remember, it being was over 20 years ago though lol

My 9yo tuned in to finish the episode with me and was drooling over the trout. Also, she never wanted to try duck eggs before…literally refused. But now she is asking me to go buy some because she wants to try one now. So good job on appealing to the youth and making them want duck eggs and trout.

duck eggs are the worst, the texture is like plastic, gmo manufactured crap. i thought about raising ducks because they are so useful on a farm, but that first egg, i said no way in h_ll. never duck eggs, only in an emergency.

My kids have watched your channel for years. They are now 7 and 9 years old. Both girls. They (and I) wanted to say thank you for such wonderful content! They are becoming avid fishermen. Some of the basic things they see you doing, like picking up trash, are so good for them! We live off grid on a small farm in MN, so we like to learn about your farming life too. Ducks are coming this spring ;)

I used to catch trash sometimes on my lure and think “not my problem “ and throw it back in the lake. Since I’ve been watching his videos I’ve caught myself taking trash into my boat even though it wasn’t mine. I realized later it was almost a direct influence from one of my favorite adventure KZreadrs. Very thankful of his influence, especially in retrospect, to make these beautiful places better for everyone

Another fantastic thumbnail drew me in. This is one of the best channels on KZread.

Yum duck eggs! They are so good and richer than chicken eggs. I love to hollow out a good French bread, whisk a few duck eggs with a touch of cream and chives and bake in the oven. Heaven.

Duck eggs are so great!

I've had a few duck eggs before....the yolk is huge on them. They are very rich and good. A lot different from chicken eggs.

By the way, where I live, Brooklyn NY, we have a gigantic family of Hawks. They fly down fourth ave sometimes it’s like pearl harbor. Seriously. They’re like the size of ten year old humans.

Love your videos! Just a tip, I know that your really into the fast retreave for these large wild trout but the less calories a fish has to burn to chase something down the less likely it is to hit it. Maybe try a slower retrieve or maybe even a finess rig. Any ways your clearly still catching giants but thought this might help.

Hey Buddy, late Spring is wild asparagus time (morels soon too - mid-April.)! You're on the other side of the mountain from me, which is great for you because it is in abundance on that side. Sautéed foraged wild asparagus with some mushrooms and onion on the side of a fresh lake trout!! All with a solid sprinkle of that Danish Sea Salt!! Ohh man. My mouth is watering!!
