BIG Stout Day! Double mash single boil brew day.

Welcome back to the channel! After a long hiatus I jump right back into making mistakes as I brew up this large stout. Double mash and a 2.5-3 hour boil time help create this. Thanks for watching!!!

I actually stopped video taping for KZread cause it was getting in the way of making beer. I was making too many stupid mistakes. Difficult to do both as you well know.

I'm not sure I'd brew if I didn't get to have fun on KZread, that's half the fun. But it is a lot of work, specially when you have to be your own camera person. Way easier when there's a second set of hands

I ask because I’d like to double mash a good stout to barrel.

Give it a go, it is a great way to really get a nice tasting beer. Let it boil for a few hours. I've seen breweries mashing 3-5 times and doing 24 hour boils. Not sure how much the flavor changes but it's pretty fun to play around with
