Nah, he's a Canon boss. Appears in deltarune chap2 as a normal boss but depending on what you do, you can unlock a secret bossfight that is MUCH harder than the original and is a counterpart of mettaton neo from undertale.

it took listening to this video for me to actually figure out which parts of the song are meant to come from other characters leitmotifs and not all just "big shot"

Spamton broke free from the strings

was expecting more parts where completely new arrangements of notes fill the gaps but this works too

[[aliveriver]] STARTING IN [[1997]] MINUTES

This is what plays when the NEO body gets up on its own. (Also, the notes at the start that get echoed throughout and the main bass instrument are both from NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A. The start bit is played on a really wibbly instrument under the heavy metalic portion near the middle that got changed to bitcrushed strings in [[BIG SHOT]], and the bassline is a modified version of the one used in both NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A and in Spamton. I know this because I just really like the instrument Toby used for Spamton’s baseline and would love a version of that song slowwed down to be on tempo with the baseline and not on eighth notes and played on slightly softer instruments just because I think it’d be a vibe honestly)

I love this :)
