Since the root system of that cane is still viable, burying it deeper will stimulate root growth further up the cane, in essence propagating it in situ. Good luck! Anne

Burying the diffenbachia canes a few inches makes a lot of sense to me, but I'm always pro-propogation. Moooooore plaaaannnts
I'd name the snake plant, Anaconda! It's incredible how wide the leaves are 💕🌱🇨🇦

That snake plant! 😍 I can’t wait to see you repot it. But I gotta know, how did you get it home?! Public transportation? Lol I didn’t think you had a car.
That Jaboa is my dream plant! I have a large Jaboa, but not that big, wow! Jaboas will definitely grow many of it's leaves that will naturally flop over just like other types of Sansavierias including the Sayuri, the Lauren, the Yellowstone, etc. But my goodness, I would love to find a Jaboa (or any other type of Sansevieria) that is that big. Just beautiful! He looks like he could be named, "Big Ben", lol.

Give the bottom stem support. Add soil to bottom of pot and on top. Keep Dieffenbachia don’t cut. Happy Planting🪴💚🌱
The dracena looks like a 'betty' to me. Like Betty White. Larger than life and living forever ❤️
Plant name suggestion: Audrey III. Remember the movie Little Shop of Horrors? 😂
For your Dieffenbachia: I would use wet Spaghnum Moss around the damaged stem, to produce roots. Then after some weeks, when enough roots growed, I would cut it and plant it imediately beside the other stems. And if you have luck new growth maybe come out of the old stem. So your plant get fuller in the lower area of the plant too. :)

I’d name the snake plant Goliath. No explanation needed. Lol. The leaves on my snake plants also bend. If they stay bent long enough they will eventually leave a crease, turn brown and tear or break off. I wrap some jute twine around mine to hold them up. It doesn’t look bad and I have kept it from getting damaged. I clean my leaves with milk or mayonnaise. The leaves gets super shiny. Have a great evening!
I BOUGHT THE JABOA AS A CUTTING MAYBE A MONTH AGO AND I PLANTED IT IN AN 8" POT. IT HAS NOW OUT-GROWN THE 8" POT AND IT NEEDS REPOTTING VERY SOON. I HAVE NOTICED IT IS A VERY FAST GROWING SANSEVIERIA. I NORMALLY DO NOT BUY CUTTINGS, BUT I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I AM SO HAPPY I BOUGHT THE JOBOA. REGARDING YOUR MASIVE JOBOA, I WOULD CALL HER "JADE". THE MEANING: JADE IS A PRECIOUS STONE; A BEAUTIFUL GREEN MINERAL THAT'S REFERRED TO AS THE STONE OF LUCK AND HAPPINESS. I THINK THE NAME "JADE" AND ITS MEANING FIT YOU AND YOUR NEW JOBOA QUITE WELL.
THANK YOU for sharing your most beautiful gigantic plant. As a matter of fact all your plants gigantic and beautiful.
Love seeing these plant chore videos! It’s really relaxing, thank you!
That plant didn't fall it jumped! 💚💚💚💚💚
That dieffenbachia cane is such a skinny legend
I like the name Kaa for the Jaboa! After the snake from Jungle Book. The pattern always makes me think of snakes, and they already have 'Boa' in the name so I think it works well!
Ooo. Call your new Jaboa “JAWS”
Oh, you're right! I initially thought, leave the cane alone, since it's growing so well. But, yes, the weight of the plant would probably crush the thin section below or cause it to snap. You may need to bite the bullet and cut it off at the base and then take several propagations along the stem. Such a shame but isn't the whole situation fascinating 🤗 PS just had another look at that section of the video. I reckon, if you're thinking of burying the canes deeper to try to save the snapped one, why not just add more soil into the existing pot. It looks as though there's plenty of room there for additional soil 😊
CALL HIM JASON JABOA PLS LMAOOOOOOO ALSO deff root deeper for the diffenbachia!
Hi! I just wanted to say that I love your channel! You seam so ful of knowledge, and I learn so much watching your videoes, at the same time being entertained! And I just love your honesty and personality. Thank you for sharing it all! I have two plants I hve tried to google more on, but have failed and wondered if you have them or know anything about them? It’s ficus maculata and australian beantree! Lots of love and support from Norway ❤️
Girl I absolutely love all your videos you have helped me out so much and you're so informative thank you so much
I name most of my plants! That snake plant is absolutely stunning! 🪴
I love BMO! Lol Love your channel!
I’ve had my dieffenbachia tropic snow over twenty years. I’ve propagated it multiple times. Some are supported by canes. I rotate them frequently to keep to keep them balanced. My Jaboa needs repotting again, the pots about to split. 😂 I named a few of my plants. I let my snake plant Whitney keep her name.💚💚💚 great video! Some of my plants that were gifts are named for that special person.
Holy crap your Dieffenbachia is an absolute champ!!!! The survival instinct of plants always amazes me!! We have a huuuuuuge bass tree in our neighborhood that was hit by lightning over 20 years ago and the majority of the trunk is basically charred and hollow. It is THRIVING to this day!!! There is another bass tree right next to it, that was not affected by the lightning strike, that is the exact same size!!! It's been one of the coolest things to me all since I was a child. It's amazing!!

Please be careful if you try it since it’s flammable. Also, I guess it depends on the medium you’re using but beneficial microbes are killed too when you bake the soil…
Jaboa the Hutt is my vote for naming the giant.
New subscriber here! 🥰🪴 I too love snake plants. They're probably my favorite!!
Hello put some smole plastic cup with soil in the pot around the broken stem Dieffenbachia then will be grow a new roots also add some more soil in the pot ) good luck
Love idea using old socks to clean plants🥰
That snake plant is the biggest one i have ever seen in my whole life!
Amazing videos keep it up 😊
💚🤩 that. Snake. Plant. 👏
Hi there, good job on the repotting giantium. For your diefenbachiea, you can air layer it since rooting it after cutting is difficult. For the snake plant, it reminds me of the lizard in Monster Inc! You can call him Randall! Thanks for sharing your fun video and happy growing 😀!
The snake plant should be called Big Bertha aha 😆
I hope it loves it's new home...a sigh of relief.
I would have to name the Jaboa something like Brutus or Butch due to it's sheer size 😮😮I have seen some large Sansevierias in my time but that one is on a whole new level! Good luck with your Dieffenbachia. I would personally just leave it and top up the soil to cover the narrow part and see how it goes, seems a shame to cut it. What a find though 💚💚
You have really big plant n beautiful!! That snake plant WOW HUGE... what a King! 👑 😍 #makemorevideos #reallybigplant
Love the Jaboa! Mine is nowhere near that size. Can't wait to watch you repot it. Best wishes 🙋♀️❤️🪴
Obsessed 😍 with everything. It took years for me to name my longest running Pothos. She’s Ms Purdie now haha. I haven’t named any other ones yet…. I do have a nice size snake plant pretty tall- maybe 3ish feet but definitely not as wide still has lots room in it’s store pot. Goodness you scored on that one!

Lol. Similar falling down experience with a tradescantia which plummeted into my washing basket from a high shelf one night, because it was under watered. Thought I had ghosts. The dog and I just sat looking at each other wondering who was going to check it out.
just chop it off and stick it in water. it will be fine even if you leave a ton of foliage. it will be fine. that thing wants to live, obviously.
I think bear or teddybear is a rly cute name for that chunky snake plant
Just came across ur channel and OMG!!!! I love U!!!! What did u ever name ur Snake Plant??? This was a year ago, so 🤷♀️ I have a Giganteum for a couple months now and I’m bringing it inside soon. It’s been on covered porch. Thank u for ur knowledge and ur energy and ur laugh/ giggle is infectious! 💚💚💚💚
This giant plant deserves a great name. I say call it , Victor 😎
Beast💚
There’s a giant 14” jaboa at my work that’s been around for a really long time, I feel like the size intimidates customers lol. I definitely can’t lift that one either! Also for the tropic snow I would definitely go with your third idea where you repot it deeper in a new pot! Maybe add a stake up against that branch aswell? I feel like that solution both helps the plant a lot and still keeps the visual aesthetic intact!
Kaa...The huge python from The Jungle Book 💯
I think Scales or some other snake pun would be great for the big guy!💚 Also I love how big your Diffenbachia is. I have a 'Camille' and while small, is growing wonderfully!🌱
Hopefully you this, but what about “Big Poppa” for the snake plant 🤣🥰 I mean it’s just massive, love it 😍
My burle marx is following in your giganteums footsteps by launching itself off of a 6 foot cabinet 😂 Aaaand my big monstera resembles your dieffenbachia 😂
No one can tell me I dont work out! Look at that total body workout! 😁 and that snake plant is absolutely incredible!
I’ve always loved your diffenbachia, I was thinking it as you said it, planting it a little deeper and see if it would root out but I would put a stake in it for support just to be safe. I like “Max”, just the name fits it so perfect because of its size it’s a beauty.
I have a large dieffenbachia, almost 5 feet tall. It had a rough time after moving to a new apt and it got squished and hurt in the truck. A couple of branches were not looking so well so I made the decision to cut it and propagate it. It cut deep to see my beautiful large plant get smaller but the cuttings are now growing happily in the same pot as the original plant.
There is a 14” snake plant at my local nursery I look at it every time I go. I think it’s a black something… it’s expensive, but a total dream plant! Maybe someday! 😂🤲🏻
I ordered a Jaboa from Planterina & it is growing like crazy! I suggest Jedediah Hill, Jed for short. There’s a plaque outside the Covered Bridge that I drive through to my neighborhood. Jedediah Hill was the man who designed & built it in the 1800’s. Thanks again for your amazing videos 😊
Beast Boy💚
I love the name Valatie and Caspine in which I named my 2 cats. I just love your huge snake plane
Omg my huge pot of monstera fell off its table and I was heart broken. So many leafs broke. It was beautiful and dul, and now. It looks funky. Lol
I always put my dirt into the freezer for a week (if you have the space) to kill off anything like gnats. You have a very beautiful apartment full of plants.
Can you make a video about best plants for beginners 🥺🥺🥺 love your videos btw hehe
Sansiboa sound for the snake plant? I want one so badly now! It’s definitely a beast!
Jabba The Jaboa ( like Jabba the hut from Star Wars 😂)
First time here watching your channel, glad I found it you've got really good energy 😁 I would name the snake plant Bruce 🤣 I'v got a couple of plants in my collection that iv named...not all of them tho
Love these huge plants! I am new to your channel and loving it! I have a bird of paradise that pretty small when I bought it and it's now really wanting to topple over because it's gotten so tall and top heavy. I really need to address it soon. 😬 Also, I love your shirt! Where did it come from?
I name NOID orchids after family members, which is fun. I started doing it after my second niece was born. Maybe name the snake plant Jolly Green Giant since it makes you so happy. It’s a gorgeous snake plant for sure.
I had a diff that had gotten so big it was starting to bend at the top of the ceiling. I was devastated knowing I'd have to cut and prop it off and thus began about 3 months of the ultimate science experiment. I cut the top off of the three stems and just stuck them in their own pot and not only did the propogations take off but the roote d stumps got 4 new growth points on them and have been shooting of leafs like there's no tomorrow
That Giant plant looks like an Ursula to me. You should name it Ursula. But someone mentioned JoJo before, that’s also cool. :)
I love that snake plant!!!! Where did you find one so big?
This is a good situation to find out how to airlayer a diffenbachia🤫
I feel like this video proves just how much plants want to live!! Even after falling over and being bent, they can and do still thrive! Amazing! Oh and how about Ralph for the snake plant name. Lol. Idk why, but it just looks like a Ralph to me!

Thanks for the encouraging video of plant mishaps turned around ❤️🪴 What about "Ana" for a name, since Anacondas are among the largest snakes in the world? Also I love the contrast b/w a sweet, diminutive name and a large, spiky plant.
Medusa is the obvious choice to name your snake plant. 🐍
I would bury the cane deeper. Add a stake and keep on growing!!! Love your videos!
Hi! My first time on here 😊 I’m a snake plant lover too! I FINALLY ordered a jaboa off Etsy and I’m so excited! I have three huge snake plants that were my grandmothers but I’m not even sure what kind they are lol they have some leaves that look like the laurentii (sp?) and others that are just green like the regular green one which I can’t remember the name atm smh. Anyway…yours is gorgeous!! I’m curious of price? As far as a name the first thing I thought of was Jabba the plant after Jabba the hut off Star Wars lol. As far as the diffenbachia, I’d either repot deeper (there’s lots of nodes on the stem) or cut the middle one to propagate then take the other two and break apart. Place them back to back to make the leaves be more evenly distributed around the plant. Once the propagation is ready, pot back with the others or in a totally different pot. Either way, turn the plant so the the leaves will grow back towards the sun so no more falling over hopefully and the IG pic will be pretty from either side. 😊💚🪴
That's an absolutely incredible snake plant! I really want a huge one, but I haven't found the One yet. I wish whale fins weren't so expensive, a huge one (even just one fin) would look so hecking good.
That Jaboa is beautiful!!! I would name him big poppa. I wouldn’t cut your diffenbachia unless it started to decline it just looks to dang pretty by your couch.
Wow love the huge plants! Also I think u should repot the dumbcane and cut off that one and propagate it and then put the plant next to a window facing the other side so it is more rounded if that makes since hahahah
What store did you get this snake? I love it so much! I just found your channal today. You are amazing amused me 😅
Yes you can cut it and root it: then plant it back in . I have one and we got four from mother of them all
I like Big Joe? Like Joe-boa?? Lol 😂
How could you not name a spikey beast plant like that "Spike". LOL
So sorry about your gigantium crashing. I know it does not matter now but you should’ve tied all the leaves to the Main stem right away for at least a month. This might have preventing a complete folding of the petioles. For your diffenbachia I think there is no need to cut the damaged stem, you should air layer it. once you have roots cut it and pot it up with the others this way you will get to keep those healthy leaves and maybe the remaining stem will grow another plant.
I got my snake plant at Lowes and I know they have them now. You could always split yours into several seperate pots.
Duuuudeee did you get that Jaboa from Paraíso? That's my favorite plant shop!!!
dat snakeplant thoooo
Hi can you do an update on the jaboa plant after repotting into a bigger pot?
Beautiful plants ! I am jealous at how green and lucious everything is. You can prevent all this leaning and falling off shelves by just kinda shifting/turning the pots in circles.
