Not sure if it’s visible for anyone else, but KZread decided to auto put in timestamps. No, the intro does not cover half the video and the fishing does not start 8 minutes in, I did not put those labels there

Do they actually bite this time of year? I couldn’t catch any on spinners when I last fished for them.

They bite year round usually, but even though they still bite this time of year, they are less aggressive. Spinners work great when the water is warmer, but as winter sets in they usually aren’t going to want to chase moving lures. That’s where fly fishing really excels, you can drift a tiny fly without any movement at all and it catches even the most sluggish fish. If you don’t have a fly rod or can’t figure it out, you could take a slightly larger bobber like a trout magnet trout float for casting weight and then put a wet fly/nymph underneath it and fish it on spinning gear and I bet you would still catch them
