Big Gipp oozes that Atlanta swagger. Atlanta has never taken a backseat to anyone when it comes to music and they can say what they want but when Dre said The South Got Something To Say he meant that and it still stands till this day!!! ATL Shawty all day everyday . PLEASE BELIEVE IT 🎤

Real talk, they miss out on plenty stories trying to stick to questions they had, they have to know when a guest is just giving up info without you pulling it out of them when they are quiet guest
@c.l.smooth29

This is the problem with most platforms like these, they don't let the guest expound on their narrative, they rather interject to hear themselves when people are tuning in for the Guest not them, Respectfully!
Dude with the red hat need to read some media books. He’s cuttin off GREAT Gipp stories bc he focused on the next question sometimes even completely ignoring some dope Shìt Gipp said where anybody would’ve wanted him to expound more on . Besides that this a dope interview
My favorite part of the view was the 5 second call he made to Dre. "Three. How ya movin? Out da way. Back streets. Never the front." Made my whole day. Gipp is a icon of cool. Always has been. The whole DF is walkin talkin legends live and direct. God bless em, Lord have Mercy. A-Town stompin.
As a East Coast hip hop head I rocked with Goodie Mob from Cell Theroy on. Diversity has been a staple of hip hop from the start and the South contribution to that has always been respected.

Funny. I'm from Atllanta and im a real hip hop head. I like all the East Coast classics: The infamous, hell on earth, reasonable doubt, it was written, east coast 2pac, etc. The only new rappers i can stomach today are griselda.

New Orleans always had straight lyricist that never got due respect due to east coast bias. Tim Smooth, MC Thick , Big Mike back in the early 90s just to name a few.
You got to be 2 types of 🥷 to respect Big Gipp....A ninja 🥷 born and raised from Atlanta in between 70 - 80s, baby... Or a 🥷 that respect, Goodie Mob. He legitimately has the best stories of what has happened and is currently going in Atlanta.
I appreciate that our legends are giving us the gift of their story!!!! This is so important to our culture!!! Keep them coming🥰
Goodie Mob means the good die mostly over bullshit / you take one "o" away it'll let you know that God is every man of blackness!
Yall need to bring Gipp back! So much history he was able to tell us
I can literally listen to Gipp tell stories all day bro

Great interview. Full of great information
Great interview!!! And I need them glasses big Gipp 🔥
Had a Cousin that went to Mays High School early early 90’s. He was in a Crew called the YEZ Boys. I remember they wore green and White Polo and Nautica Gear. From the Pictures he showed me. He also ran with Khudjo Goodie. I was 5 Years younger then him, and his stories about Atlanta used to amaze me. Sounded like it was nothing but Chocolate Love in The ATL❤️🖤🤎
Gipp the first one to say it “when Pac died all these rappers rose”
Great Interview, Great Questions! Y’all just got a subscriber…I’m from Atlanta a die hard Organize Noise Fan know the history in and out…but I truly learned some new info in this interview. 7Delowe 1 Headland Blu Phi 🤘🏾
Love how he had them use those things called smart phones to get the information instead of telling them
I ready to subscribe to Big Gipp's podcast. LFG !!!
GREAT INTERVIEW FELLAS!! 👍🏾
Jean Carne, one of the most beautiful voices ever to come along. Gipp was in the presence of musical geniuses and royalty. He learned from and was influenced by the best in the business. As a young girl at the age of 12 and hearing for the first time Ms. Nancy Williams, I was blown away. So I can imagine the impact all of these people had on him at such a young age. Gipp was in the presence of the greatest who helped him walk into his purpose - music and entertainment. Great lessons and experiences!
I cleared my throat about a thousand times during this interview
This was a dope interview.
Gipp speaking facts The city was looking for the street vibe when No limit & Cash Money dropped.. It open the doors for Lil John, Troy, & Tip which changed to what we hear now
All love over here respect I look up to y'all for real

Gipp made me the dude I am today. Never a follower always a leader. What you eat don't make me 💩. Just knowing how to stand on your own two ten toes down. Without a doubt in your mind that this is me. And I'm comfortable with that.
