Nicely done! You keep your purchase high up with your shooting hand and leverage with your support hand to REALLY help mitigate the recoil. THIS is how this revolver was meant to be handled! I'm proud to see that.

I’ve shot one of these 45-70/10” BFR’s; not a mild piece by any means but totally doable for the experienced shooter! The trigger feels as smooth as can be also! Great video, thanks for sharing!

The 45/70 is a low pressure cartridge so it pushes and does not buck.

You know if you have a gun that can take the pressure You can load them up to modern chamber pressures
