Greetings! Your wildlife pond is really taking shape! Great footage as always. The faun looks very healthy and the buzzard is the prettiest buzzard I've seen. I don't believe we have that kind in my neck of the woods. Beautifully serene. Thanks again for sharing!

Greetings! Apologies for late reply. It did look so peaceful and serene, didnt it. I guess when the buzzard is in 'town',all the other birds take a back seat, and he/she has the place to themself 🦅The pond is definently taking shape, and starting to look more natural, after less than a year, which is great to see. Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoyed! 🌲

Wow, those were some BIG thunderclaps at the beginning and end! (I always imagine UK weather to be more mild-mannered than ours for some reason. heh) And such beautiful thrushes, doves, and woodland birds. Does the fawn have to worry about predators besides humans? We have mountain lion, coyotes, and now wolves* hereabouts. I won't spoil the surprise visitor for others, but that was awesome! Is it a rarity where you are? I especially liked the music you chose for this encounter. :) *A pack of wolves has recently wandered down to Colorado from Yellowstone in Wyoming. They are handsome critters, but the local ranchers are NOT too pleased!

We do have more mild mannered storms indeed Laura,at least in terms of thunder and lightning(although it does get pretty blowy for sure)but this was a good storm with nice rolling thunder which i recorded recently. Happy you enjoy the thunder too(so long as one is cosy, and sheltered of course). The deer definently have less to worry about here, only foxes could be a threat to younger fawns. The mother was around,as ive seen them together in other videos,i think this time she was probably just off camera. The visitor is around, but this is the first time coming to the pond, and seeing it close up. They are generally very shy,and the minute you see them, they seem to realise and disappear quite quickly. So to see it so relaxed like this has been a treat. Thanks for keeping it a surprise! :) They have also talked about introducing wolves back in Uk,which on this little island would also be quite a disaster. I think wolves need to be in wilderness areas, with little human contact,or it cant work unfortunantly. And thanks for the feedback on the music, glad you liked. I felt the 'visitor'was so relaxed, that it fit well also.
