Just do your work more time and you can take a shot from 70 to 110 yards with a bow. Don't said than a people do not know how to hunt with bows, because I my self nows manys abd they can put down lot's of animals from far away.

+HOTR Looks like the moose was hit to high, it probably got away. Poor shot placement. 10" lower and we would have seen the follow-up

It’s unfortunate that all of the non hunters who watch this have forgotten that their ancestors hunted this same way since 10,000B.C. If you think this is a cruel way for an animal to die, you should watch a pack of wolves hunting moose or caribou. When they catch the animal, the wolves don’t kill it before they start eating. The hunter who shot this animal did so with all the legal equipment and the requirements for retrieving the animal. I guarantee the amount of sweat and pain it took to get that moose out of the woods will be cherished on the dinner table. It’s so easy to go to the grocery store and pick up a head of lettuce a bag of beans or a pound of ground meat. The worse thing is all the fertilizer pesticides and the method which took place getting those groceries to the dinner table. Please don’t criticize others for the things they do.

To get a kick animals have to die. Me me me is what this is about. I know the bow does the job but still it is about adrenalin kick. Hunting gives that but use the fast and clean shots from the right gun. 😊 Sorry guys.

I've hunt before, and have a chace to shot one like this a 30 yard, but I stopped whem I see how beautiful they are abd how close you can get from them. I do still hunting and I continue to use my bow and my guns but if the animal came to me under a 50 yards with a gun I let it go away.

I've done the same in NZ a 14 pointer Red stag Infront of 3 of us in a turnup field just laying there feeding it picked up our scent stood up turned around at 3 of us and took off to our left and cleared the fence was only 15 metres away we were like possum trapping had no gun. So now we only talk how awesome it looked.

You know how many cattle where saved because this guy chose a organic fed animal to feed his family. So yes he saved a lot of cows. This moose could feed his family but as an average consumer of meat how many cows die at slaughter house to feed his family??? Kill one to save many.
