Talked to one of our land owners and he says he has been having some hog issues. We told him we would see what we could do and the first time we pulled up this big boy was making himself at home to the deer feeder he had going. He looked so big at first we had to make sure one of the farmers cows hadn't gotten out. He was about 500 yards across the field so we took of stalking him down. We got within about 60 yards of him and we had to wait until he was clear of the feeder and when he was we double tapped him with the ‪@dnafirearmsystems6575‬ AR10's! One is in .308Win and the other in .243, he got both right in the ole noggin. Both have ‪@PulsarNV‬ thermal scopes mounted on them and we also use ‪@PulsarNV‬ scanners. We carried them all that way on our ‪@twovetstripods‬ and at 60yards they were as steady as a rock. I wish we would have had time to weigh him but he was the largest boar we have killed lately. He was somewhere between 235to 250lbs I'm guessing conservatively. We killed one a few weeks ago that weighed 206lbs and this hog was considerably larger.
