Winter still going on up here in Ohio . This past Sunday temp rose to 68 . So I hit a local pond. Six Sense jerk . Caught decent walleye 2 3 plus lb bass . Ben how much do you rely on live scope and pan optics to locate and target fish now as compared to a few years ago b4 they became more advanced and detailed. It seems like you really use them to go after them big donks!!??

I've been catching bass in less than a foot of water with spinner baits on a big lake in southern VA. The water temp is 55-58 degrees. We are catching bass less than a pound on main and secondary points. The bigger bass are back in the coves in 1-3 feet of water. I've never caught bass that shallow this early in the year.

I live in Eastern NC and I've been catching them on a walking bait in like 1-2 foot of water for the last week or so also...water temp has been 52-56 degrees...It's very strange to see them so shallow this early! They have been some big ones too! 4-6 pounders
