"BIG BASS BIG BASS!" Lure Fishing North Wales 🌊

Ойын-сауық

Bass fishing with guide Terry Wax on one of his secret marks in Anglesey using Lures. 3AM start for this trip, my second in a row. Not usually a morning person but definitely starting to see the benefits of being out and about at this time!
If you enjoyed the video, please don't forget to like and subscribe, it really helps me out! I'm sorry some of the filming isn't my normal style with some different zoomed angles on the go pro footage. Was very kind of Terry to take me out so I wanted to make sure I kept his mark as private as possible.
If you're interested in doing some bass fishing on anglesey then you should definitely get in touch with Terry, he really knows his stuff and as well as putting you on the fish he will teach you techniques how to catch them from a lifetime of experience.
You can find him on facebook here:
Facebook: / north-wales-bass-fishi...
Also, he's just started a youtube channel too and it would be great if you could head over and subscribe!
/ @bassfishingnorthwales...
As always, thanks for watching and hopefully i'll see you for the next video!

    Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit kzread.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

    Lots of treble hooks don't always hold a big fish - fewer hooks are the way to go - more pressure on the hook point that then gets a purchase, easier to release as well. Have you tried single hooks on those same lures? I've lost big fish the same way. So frustrating. Interesting video as always. Try Coron with a fly - some perch, trout and occasional seatrout in there, if it's recovered from the pollution incident that is, pollution incidents are bloody everywhere.

  • @adventurefishinguk

    @adventurefishinguk

    Жыл бұрын

    That makes sense! I've never tried singles on this type of lure but find they work really well on single hooked soft baits like the savage gear sandeel. Pollution is sadly becoming all too common isnt it, thanks for watching!

    @Adventure Fishing UK I have spinal damage and arthritis has set in. I've also developed Fibromyalgia due to spinal trauma. I still try and get out fishing with my son's once in a while. My son's are constantly working all the time. " so I like to keep them updated with the latest lures or lures that just work. It's much easier for me to read the names of the lures and write them down, as some can be a bit difficult to pronounce. I once was a match Angler. " but those days are gone now. " and i'am gutted about that. "Anyway keep up with the good work and just enjoy what you are doing. Their's nothing better than travelling to a new venue and giving yourself a challenge. Take care and Tight lines. 🐟 🐟🎣

    If you’d like to catch bass from an accessible spot then Bangor Pier is somewhere to consider using lures or live bait. Barmouth bridge with some live sand eel would be good. You could also charter a boat out of Beaumaris. If your wheelchair is ok on hard sand then Dwygyfylchi or Penmaenmawr beaches could be good too. Do you have help and equipment needed? If not, let me know.
