    What a smart piece of fishing. Instead of randomly casting into white water, actively seeking out areas that are more likely to hold fish. Super stuff.

    Hats off to you mate! I catch bass on shingle beaches in the surf but to land them I just bring them in on the wave and it dumps them on the shingle. I then grab the trace and slide up them the beach to safety. I weigh them, photograph and put them straight back.4lb to 7lb are extremely strong to hold and photograph! No way i could stand on rocks to land one.. Very well done.

    What a great video ... robson green thought he was an extreme Angler !!!! If he watched this video he would realise that it was you that’s the extreme one !!! That’s some awesome fishing. I’ve never been to sea fishing so I’ve never caught a bass ... I go lure fishing for perch Pike and chub !! I would absolutely love to do that. I’m going to Swanage to visit one of my partners relatives for a few days and I might take my lure rod with me and see if I can catch some sort of salt water fish. Any ideas or Lures would be much appreciated either from yourself or from anyone on here. Brilliant video though and well done ... some scary moment there I thought you were going to go in ! Thanks John, I dont mean it to be extreme! I just fished in Portugal like this for the last 25 years and it just how Ive always fished, perhaps coming from surfing. Im not sure how the bass fishing is in Swanage as I dont fish the UK but I would be using lighter smaller lures like the 15g tweak bait which is 7cm. Samsonlures have some slow sink versions of the tweak bait that will work well also on the Pike! Good luck whatever!

I spent most of the time exploring and looking for good marks for future trips. I notice in most of your videos you seem to use the bare lure without any skin swaps. Hi there. I have bought one of your lures and am going to try it in devon and cornwall. Have you found they only work in rough weather ? Is it ok to use a 1oz ball weight with my 15g for more distance with a 3 foot trace or would this ruin the surface action? regards matt

  • @lurefishingfromtheshore-gr8270

    @lurefishingfromtheshore-gr8270

    4 жыл бұрын

    I don’t think that setup would work at all well. If you have 2 separate elements to cast it will also ruin the cast not only the action. Much better would be to use a 50g Enticer Tweak Bait or Enticer Minnow which will cast much further and can be worked better! We have airbrushed designs coming in 6 weeks and the mullet is very effective in calmer waters. Generally when it’s calmer I use the 15g mini candle and Enticer Tweak bait for sea bass and other species

    Some clonkers there; you take some risks for those fish though! With the speed of your retrieve those lures must be almost bouncing over the surface? Well done though, some awesome fishing.

    Really depends where you fish. For the rocks and beaches I wouldnt be withouth the Samson 12ft Long Cast rod which casts maximum distance. For the Lures I use Samson lures in the 30g to 50g range when its over 1 meter and 15-20g samson lures when its smaller conditions. Best of luck!
