Catching Big Bass On Surface Lures - Kayak Fishing For Bass - Bass Fishing Uk - Kayak Fishing Uk

Inshore Kayak fishing with lures for bass on surface lures in small coves -
In this video I will be using surface lures whilst bass fishing from the Kayak.
This video is ideal for beginners that want to learn how to use surface lures for bass.
So after checking the weather forecast, conditions looked pretty settled with some half decent tides for a little trip along Jerseys North coast.
With flat calm conditions it was ideal for using surface lures in the little coves dotted along the North side of the island.

Sure thing buddy. so I use the Penn conflict inshore range of lure rods. they arnt too pricey and get the job done. I use the 35g and 45g setups. I also use a savage gear sinning rod which is slightly heavier for if I’m using larger soft plastic lures or wrasse fishing. speak to your local tackle shop buddy I’d say you’d want something between 7-9ft and between 30-50g casting weight. For the reels I use Penn spinfishers or slammers 2500-3000 size loaded with 20-30lbs braid.

It's good mate. To be honest it’s one of them. it suits my fishing needs very nicely although I don’t always take it out with me. It is perfect for my offshore trips or to aid me with battling a racing bit of tide. For the fishing I do it’s worth every penny IMO ….although to someone else that may not be trolling, heading out offshore or facing battles whilst paddling into tides it might not be worth it as much. I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons tbh.
