You can not eat gold or silver. Be sure to have at least two broody hens to ensure future chicks. As soon as I can I am getting a few more chicks to raise, at least two of them will be used as Mama hens. Rabbits (they eat grass) you get the picture.

Just think, when I was so young I can’t remember, I bought $100.00 worth of pre-1975 junk silver coins that filled a 1-lb coffee can. Everyone thought I was crazy. Hmmmn! In 2010 etc. I began investing in American Silver Eagles. My son thought I was losing it?! He invested in Bitcoin. My thought is, if you can’t hold it you don’t own it.

Same here no money for silver let alone Gold ,all we can do is our best and one day we might get there. I've so many other things I need yet to ,and I help my family with half my pension despite they are working they haven't enough to keep them and the two kids going ,I do a lot for the kids to I also have to use a lot of my preps now as cost of living high and due to helping family 😱,I pray and hope we all get time to prep more .👍🤗🙏💖🇬🇧

I've been waiting on Silver for literally years. I bought at $21 back in in Jezz 2012, couldn't afford gold, then either. He right, JPMORGAN was caught so many times and fined for Manipulation nothing happened except they got fined which was a drop in their BUCKET! Banks may stomp it down next week.

Buying g/s for us wont happen. Feeding our mini ranch/ farm comes first…We are paying down all our credit than the house. We do the best we can and the rest is in Gods hands!

I remember pre-2008 when economic factors and data drove the market, not fed money printing.

TY for the information. First was purchasing my mother’s home, no debt. Basic repairs to said home. New kitchen appliances as the older ones were failing. Started back having a stocked Pantry (that actually saved my life 3 times). Procured materials for raised garden. Beds (poor sail, significant OJI issues). Basic phone, no cable, no car payment, basic utilities.

I wish I could afford gold! I just bought more silver at least!🤑

I started witj Merrill Lynch in operations fall of 1974. I remember it being in the 400's and 500's. People came into a small area to watch the ticker tape. Our secretaries would sit and change out the S&P papers daily. Things have sure changed! Our once great country is in so much trouble. It breaks my heart. I’ve cut everything. Only have Wi-Fi. I have a Roku tv so I can watch movie apps and live tv. Done everything to cut electricity and heating costs . Well insulated everything. Our car fuel we cut. Only necessary trips in town. We take one day every two weeks for milk and essential items, any kind of reasonable sales, hardware ect. We have a farm store a mile down the road in the village, Amish store, gas station , a DGs , couple locally owned restaurants a thrift store/ inside flea market. Covered the bases when we set up a home

If you purchase gold or silver you must buy more than $1000 to avoid sales tax. You don’t owe on a sale unless you profit and only the gain is taxable. If you only sell silver or gold is coins at a pawn shop there is no record of sale.

I remember around 1995 or so Gold was at $270 dollars an ounce, and I was broke, damnit.

I can remember when the Dow passed 2000. It was such a big thing back then. Hard to imagine 40,000.

I'm curious what an adjusted dollar value of the DOW compared to December 2020 would look like.

Silver at $31.79 right now... That's the bid I think - market price. $34.92 on sale for Indian Head 1 0z. rounds on Apmex.

Pinball the question I would like to pose is I'm old school about metals being a old way of failsafe when the dollar has problems. But what if the FED says with the new digital money they won't conceder gold or silver or other metals as currency to exchange only because of the newer things they have control over especially the new metals they are developing for computers and solar panels. Just a thought.

A monster box of American Silver Eagles on 1/22/2024 was $13,208 physical delivery. Today 5/17/2024 its $19,244 for that same monster box (500 ASE) that’s a 45.69% increase in 4 months. Remember the value of PMs are not rising fiat purchasing power is falling. It’s just taking more fake currency to convert to PMs

There is a big demand for gold and silver world wide, the reason its going up and up in spot price. Internet and social media also has a influence that the economy is going into depression.

I'm not going to lie but I use and bought silver coins and bullions to sanitize water and make nano colloidal silver water with 99.999 purity. Its for medicinal uses to fight off those nasty CDC made viruses. Some of those gold coins I hoard is for inheritance when I leave Earth.

Im so happy i picked up a bunch of silver well before it went to 30 and even just over the past couple years i have been buying 1oz bars and morgans...now its near impossible to get started. I dont think silver will go lower then 30 anymore.

Or in wartime the govt can take it....reason other countries buying gold is because they are worried the US will freeze their assets. Food water and barter items will be more valueable.

Having PHYSICAL gold or silver WILL help you during hyperinflation. If you have a mortgage or ANY locked in payment contract the gold/silver will help you. As hyperinflation starts the value of 1 ounce of gold or silver WILL rise also. So lets say the gold price goes to $800,000.00 an ounce and silver goes to $70,000.00 an ounce and your bank wants payment of the $400,000.00 balance NOW, you simply give them 1/2 ounce of gold or 6 ounces of silver. This ONLY works with LOCKED in, NOT variable, contracts. And you can buy farms, houses, vehicles, plazas...as long as those are LOCKED in prices because variable rates would be hard to catch up with (there will be many whose loans will be called in so ya can arrange to buy them and have them as tenants or not). Hopefully the above makes cents (sense ).

Silver passing (solidly) $30 is significant. $30 was the upside resistance.

When i started to work for stock market in 1960 it was around 700 more or less. Remember when it crossed 1000.

We bought when the Kenyan was in office, up 54% since then and would have been higher if the ETF traders hadn't spoofed the market in recent years to hide their overselling of available product.

Silver is one of the best investments in the world. Every electrical switch, motor starter contacts, electronics, solar panel and electric car has silver in it. The world is not making anymore silver and supply has a hard time keeping up.

HOW MANY OUNCES OF SILVER DO YOU THINK WILL COVER ONE YEAR OF PROPERTY TAXES?

Also silver is over 31.00 and gold over 2400.00 an oz
