The president did actually greenlight the shooting down of the balloon, but left the actual competent people to decide when and how to do so. I personally prefer actual intelligence and military experts to deal with actual intelligence and military stuff instead of politicians micromanaging sensitive operations

This has been the best hosting experience since Trevor.

This is the first time I’ve actually laughed out load at the Daily Show! I’ve always found it funny/amusing, but something about Chelsea’s delivery hits me in the funnies 😂

This is a strong start for Chelsea Handler. I like that each host really has their own style. None of them are trying to be Trevor or Jon.

Been watching her since I was 14 in the 2000’s ! I didn’t have any outspoken female family members at home and this lady was like a breath of fresh air. Even though it was comedy, her boldness encouraged me to speak my mind as a young woman.

Best Chelsea ever! Loved Dulce's set. Always wondered why reporters are forced outside to tell us it is cold or hot or wet or windy. Now I know.

How many years did it take MTG to realize that being a lawmaker was such a "demanding job"? Oh, right, until recently, she had no committee appointment, so basically nothing to do all day except hanging around.

Dulce is right! I never understood the need for a weather reporter to stand outside in the rain or snow to tell us what we can see if we just looked outside our windows and WHY would you send someone out in a hurricane and or floods? Even though they say they have the "state of the art" weather equipment they still need for some poor soul to endure terrible weather. The lengths networks are willing to go thru to put people in positions where there well being and or health is in jeopardy all for a blooper reel.

Could not love Chelsea Handler more, she is so funny and intelligent. I vote for Chelsea to stay as the official host of the Daily Show!

Of all the hosts so far, Chelsea has been the best fit. I really enjoyed the others too, but her delivery feels closer to a regular newscaster, but can still pull off the snark and satire.

Chelsea Handler had said that she would love to permanently host the daily show and I totally agree. She's a perfect fit. Passionate, funny, great comedic timing, informed about politics and a caring person beneath her cynicism

I love Dulcé, she’s so funny! That was the best correspondent’s bit I’ve seen in a while.

This was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. Chelsea handler was hilarious and it even got better when Dulce Sloan showed up... Together they're just the best thing! ❤️

I was a huge fan of Wanda Sykes since she was a ‘correspondent’ in The Chris Rock show on HBO. The other person I’m Excited to see is Al Franken. Wanda’s vibe was perfect

Surprisingly, Canada once tried to shoot down a rogue weather balloon with guns and it is surprisingly hard. Multiple F-18's pretty much exhausted their magazines shooting at the thing. Those things are bafflingly large, so it takes ages to deflate them, even with a thousand holes.

I must admit to a certain perverse glee in the fact that MTG is miserable in her job. We can now all be miserable together!

MTG complaining about the demands of her cushy Congressional job is too much!!

I once had a coworker who got blown off of a hiking trail on Mount Washington. But it was summer. The place is notorious for being one of the windiest places in the country. (He was an aeronautical engineer, so he knew from windy.)

Comedy central is killing it with all the awesome hosts we've had! I love them all!

I hope they give the job to Chelsea. But keep doing guest hosts somewhat regularly because there are some very smart and funny comedians bringing their own styles that I have enjoyed too. Watching this show the past few weeks, I realize I want to watch more comedy in general. Life is too short not to laugh more often.

I think Chelsea is fantastic, she brings a woman’s perspective of the daily news. She is not screaming at us like some of the other guest host. She is calmly getting the news to us and that’s why you have to appreciate her wit and humor. Besides she is great with Dolce!
