Biden asserts executive privilege to prevent release of recordings
On Thursday, the White House asserted executive privilege over recordings of President Biden in an interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
Attorney General Merrick Garland chose to ignore a subpoena to release those recordings, and the House Oversight Committee is now set to take up a vote over whether to recommend holding Garland in contempt of Congress. The House Judiciary Committee voted earlier today to move forward with its own effort to do so.

We have evidence of our crimes. Therefore we cannot release the evidence because it would prove we are criminals.
You can’t use executive privilege to cover up a crime. Nixon tried that same thing.

The DOJ has put conservatives in jail for not complying with a legal order. So Garland needs to be in jail. Equal justice.

Executive Privilege can’t be claimed on materials already released. Transcripts ought to be mere copies of the tapes. Of course, with the demented gibberish omitted…which is the reason for the foot dragging…

Based upon the fact that he properly requested information relating to the case and then no one ever responded. Therefore the subpoena was deemed illegitimate. You need to do some research and stop believing the fake news.

Concerns about creative editing is justified. Republicans have been caught repeatedly selectively editing texts and emails. Thats why hunter was justified in demanding he testify publicly instead of closed door. Those are the facts.
