For those who dont know the law and think they have a right to privacy in a public area then they get shirty. But when you know the law its easier to just have a decent conversation

So much respect for firefighters. Helpful, and willing to take the time to explain what they were doing. I can understand why he just asked for you to be careful, just genuine concern. Even asking if you had an appointment! Do they do tours for the public? I know that with government cuts to services, they might not be able to accommodate a random person just turning up with a camera, but if you had pre booked, do you think they would? This should be the norm for all institutions, police stations, fire stations, hospitals, prisons and military (yes, i know some things do need additional secrecy or confidentiality). Its quite funny to see how Police, which is meant to be protecting people's lives, and should be more connected/polite/friendly to the people, rather than trying to incriminate them in any possible legal or illegal way, especially with their lack of knowledge about photography laws. Then you see these firemen/firewomen not giving a single flying bird about a man with camera, this just goes to show what kind of social groups of people work in different government departments, because clearly not one fireman or firewoman was triggered unlike every other police officer, or anyone with a vest, radio, badge number and other gadgets which makes themselves feel like they are above people who do not possess such vest😅. But also in my view shows which department cares more about people/their job🤔, but of course this may be just a lucky visit on a lucky day when firepeople are in the mood to talk, since AB doesn't go around fire stations much this may be a lucky case. At the end of the day if you reached this part of my comment, you can understand my point and hopefully give it a like, since i spent like 7 minutes writing it😂

Every now and again it happens and it brightens your day. Like a breath of fresh air to see when there is no suspicion and people are friendly like that.. These are the poster boys and girls who the others should learn from. I have a friend who was high rank in the fire service, quite bonkers he is and i always think it's a big part of his coping mechanism for the awful things these brave souls must have to endure. They earn respect day to day saving lives and facing such danger. Not to try and detract from the point of the video and another great photography audit AB.

Looks like Lukas cutting gear. Really nice to service, with good couplings on the hoses, and pumps. Swapping gear on appliances for servicing, and repairs is a major headache, but it must be done precisely, or else equipment can vanish, or the wrong hoses are boarded with the wrong couplings for pumps.
