I am guessing the fine tip colored pens will not bleed through, but that the highlighters will.

Careful with them though! I just tore my Bible page when I tried to move a transparent sticky note that I bought there. Just make sure it is where you want it.

Right I got some cute ones in different shapes like hearts, stars, etc & they didn’t stick at all, so had to use clear tape

I tested Mr Pen highlighters in my Bible and they don’t bleed through! Economically priced, too.

Yes! I test pens on the weights and measure page, too! 😄 I write the name of the pen with the pen. For highlighters, i write the name with a black pen then highlight the name!😊

My DT has never had the transparent sticky notes and it's been a year or more since I first heard someone recommended them. Bummer. Also, INC., Jot and Crafters Square are DT store brands. Your DT has so much stock too! Wow! I do love the smaller (A5) journals too Thank you, Faith. PS- you'd think my living in Oklahoma where DT began, my store would have more variety.

I thought I heard before that dollar tree transparent notes weren't that great

I’ve recently found your videos since I wanted to start reading again. I wanted to grow stronger with God especially since I’ve been struggling for years with debilitating health issues. Your method of Bible journaling opened my eyes to new possibilities. I didn’t realize I was holding back because I was worried about destroying the Bible or if it’s right to write in it. Thank you for your videos it’s helped me understand God’s word in a way I’ve never had before. 😊

Your dollar tree looks so good! I’m so impressed they had acrylic blocks, such a find! And those avocado stickers are ADORABLE 😊

I brought a bunch of the tapes and the thin ones I have to glue because they didn’t stick but the thick ones do. I buy tons of the white double sided tape that you peel each side to stick pages and stuff and love love love them. I also buys tons of their stickers as well. But not much luck on any of the pens. So some stuff at dollar tree is great and some things aren’t. But I did buy their crayon brand color pencils and they work great. Thanks for this video…

Absolutely! I have heard stories of people who started with little or no knowledge but managed to emerge victorious thanks to Ana Graciela Blackwelder.

I bought some of the forma pens last week, they write well and don’t bleed :) some of the colored pens are actually only blue ink. Thanks for sharing!!

Dollar Tree is actually pretty impressive, our UK equivalent would probably have about 5% of those items in the stationary section

Oh my! IF ONLY my Dollar Tree was that clean and organized! My favorite to use in my Bible? Crayola Twist Up colored pencils. NOT the ones that have to be sharpened. At Walmart they’re with the Crayola markers… not with other pens. My Walmart has them with the panting and sketching supplies.

Honestly I do use the Optimus they are really good but be careful they do shadow and sometimes bleed through if you use a lot in one place I’ve made a quite a bit of mistakes in my Bible but it’s ok it not the end of the world lol thank you so much Faith for the wonderful videos I pray you inspire and bring happiness to others as you do me ❤❤

I am way more excited about walking to the local dollar tree and grabbing some clicky pens than I should be

I just bought last night at Walmart the Pen & Gear gear sharpened colored pencils 12 count after 50 cents and I'm currently using them in my inspire Bible and wow they were awesome they remind me of the Crayola pencils. I also recommend the craze art colored pencils the ones with the erasers on each pencil they are so good I keep a 24-count of them in a on the go Bible journaling bag and a 12 count for when I'm here at the house and all of these sharpening wheel with even the Dollar tree pencil sharpeners

Think I’m going to my local DT tomorrow morning!

Also on the transparent sticky notes I found that using the bic pens have worked good for me the bold point ones

I found a Promarx brand at my DT of four very bright water based gel fine tip pens. The pink was pink and the purple was purple😊. Bleed thru in my bible but great for highlighting in my prayer journal. They also have tons of great storage stuff now because of school starting!!

DT has so many cute stuff and I always get in trouble there. 😄 I like the value of pack pens. Could you do another scrapbook video, please? Thanks for the Bible journaling tips, Faith. This video was fun! 🌻

But a bit on the huge side! I am currently searching for a cover and thought I would ask faith has she ever thought of doing bible covers? Those ClipClicks are my favorite pens of all time. I get the 10-pack of black and it lasts me years!

I use Tombow brush water based highlighters/pens and in my humble opinion they are the best, they don't bleed through and don't even ghost 😊

Zebra sarasa clip pens are my favorite for bible journaling!! They’re always true to color, fine-ish tip and no bleed through (on my bible at least) 😊

I love using water pencil in my Bible to underline since my Bible pages is almost see-through. I just wet the tip, and then it glides

Dang wish our dollar tree had even half this stuff! Yours is so nice & clean, too. I’m in So Cal, so always looks like a war zone 😂😅

I've loved the Just Right pens for my Bible for a while! Yes it shadows, but I haven't found anything that doesnt, and I do like the ballpoint style.

On the black sticky notes I have seen really bright pen colors that have recently come out that are meant to be used on black paper

I was all excited about the transparent sticky notes. They were a flop. We tried several different writing utensils and we couldnt get them to work.

I think the 2 line pencils be fun for underlining

Amazon has really nice no bleed pens in good colors made for Bibles!

I’ve found that the joy highlighters dissolve my pages.

I’ve gotten bibles that I use to cut out verses etc for my faith art journal

Wowo your dollar tree is nice ours don’t have that kind of stuff

The washi tape I’ve tried from there is pretty bad. I always have to add more glue. A lot of times just trying to keep it from coming off the roll evenly is a pain but if I see a pattern I really love I will get it and use extra glue

Im close to Richardson and my dollar tree does not have that variery of products lol

The envelope coupon organizer is very chaotic in its pockets. I threw mine away. I tried using them to organize my “cash” envelopes. Before buying one really look inside and see how the pockets are set up and it doesn’t change until 1/2 way through.

I'm curious what pens don't smear on the clear stickies? I haven't had much luck.

I've come to the conclusion that it's better to buy a couple of good archival ink bible pens/highlighters. If you add up the money you waste on cheap, you could easily get a few microns for the same cost! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also light colours like orange and lime green are good for underlying or highlighting but not notes. A good value writing pen is parker pens fine black as it is archival ink and won't bleed or ghost. I've used them for years. BUT DON'T use blue or red 🙏 (learn from my mistake 😩). Hope that helps someone. ❤

I’ve tried the wall stickers in my faith “art” journal and they did nicely but were too heavy for Bible pages and very rigid for my taste

Has anyone else had issues with pens not bleeding through at first, but then after a week or two, the ink almost settles or something and really bleeds through?

Why do you not like ballpoint? It's the only thing I find that doesn't bleed through any of my bibles... otherwise, one pen works in one bible but bleeds through another bible.
