Oh I LOVE Ross Dress for Less for journals, art supplies, cute pens and pencils, sketch books etc! And on occasion some really nice toy prices and little one t-shirts! One of my favorite haunts!

Amazing how much you were able to put in that box! It turned out wonderfully. Lots of love squished in with her squishy plush. I need to reload on some things for 10-14 girls. I've packed so many lately and ran out of some things. Guess that's good. If you run out there's a reason for it. I think you hit all the same areas I scope out. I think the game section is one as well since girls like cards and such too and sometimes we can get Uno and such on clearance. Sometimes the dollar spot has good totes or something random. My biggest ones are jewelry, accessories and school/creative items when it comes to Walmart. I picked up 2 of the pink soccer balls this week. The stores here seem to have them at different prices. I paid $5.50 each. Loved the soccer ball story! It made me feel good about packing them for girls. ⚽️💕 Also found some cute dresses for this age range this week. Can't get my stash cleared because I'm bringing too much home. 😂😃

We don't have the dollar spots in our stores yet. I wish we did! I know Val finds a lot of great things there! I also wish that soccer ball was $5.50....I would have scooped it up! Unfortunately it was not on sale. I love the pink ones! I needed to reload on this age group also because I need to pack more. So this trip was a fun one. The box turned out fun....VERY full but full of love! Thanks for watching friend! I wish you lived closer. We could get into some seriously big trouble shopping together! LOL

Awesome! My favorite area is the clearance racks in the girls department. I buy cart loads of beautiful clothes to donate at $1 a piece.

You can't beat $1! That's what I look for too! However I give in to the $3 prices also at times. You can't make these clothes for those prices! Right?

I was wondering about picking up party favor packs. Couldn’t decide if they were considered quality enough for shoeboxes. So thank you very much for clearing this up for me. I’ll be picking up party packs from now on to split up and pack in boxes! 👏👏👏

They are fine for filling in the empty spaces in your boxes! And fun too! As long as the box has a nice WOW and other quality items, you are good to go!

Thanks for the shopping trip! A lot of times people find it so hard to pack for this age so this is a great video. I also appreciate you showing Walmart vs. DT items. Many times you can find cheaper prices in Walmart (checker set) for example. I think I need to come to MD, you find the best clearance. Those water bottles are great for 1.50! TFS!

Soooo last night I went to my closest Walmart and they had them too! Bought a bunch! Point being, your store might have them too!!! Thanks for watching! I keep seeing your prices on the same items I saw or bought at my Walmart for lower prices. The girls underwear you said you bought for $1 or $2 I paid $4 for and thought I got a great deal. Maybe the stuff at our Walmart gets snatched up before it has a chance to be marked down further. Anyway, great ideas!!!

It always depends on the store, location, manager, etc. I have one store close to me that hardly ever has great prices but if I drive about 20 minutes away, I can find many great deals. Don't give up! Those $1 items are out there! (P.S. I also follow clearance shoppers on Instagram that many times share the deals with visuals that helps me find them!)

Thank you Denise for another nice box. I want to add a garden trowel to one of my older kid's boxes. Other packers blasted me for that idea. I contend that kids like to dig in the dirt and they can help with gardening as well. My plan is also to add plenty of fun -- deck of cards, dominoes, checkers, princess headband, hacky sack, etc. What is your opinion on the trowel?

I think the trowel is ok as long as there is plenty of other toys, items and a WOW to please the child! Maybe she loves gardening and it is the perfect gift! You never know! Pack from your heart and let the Holy Spirit guide you. If you are called to pack it, then do so. There will always be negative opinions if you ask for an opinion.

Such a lovely box for a 10-14 year old girl 🩷 it's fun and full and you always make it personalized in a beautiful way! Great finds at your Walmart, too!

I am always happy when I can find jewelry and hair accessories on clearance at Walmart, which is rare in my store, unfortunately. I am not familiar with bun buns, but they look very cute and I love they are called that lol. Other than crayons and colored pencils, I have not yet found fantastic deals on school supplies at Walmart. Last year loose leaf paper was .25. This year it’s .97 per pack. So disappointing. I did find some really cute pencils for $1.37 - pink with western theme. So cute for a Barbie western theme or Barbie rodeo. TFS! Love everything you packed. 🥰

Even the pencils have gone up in price! Ugggg....! Well I JUST went to my closest Walmart last night and they JUST put out their school supplies so yours must be coming soon. The deals are not super great...you are right. But maybe when the clearance starts! I know that I have to pick up several items at full BTS price because they will not be there later. Those Bum buns are adorable. Just wish they were a little less expensive. They would mush into a box so easily! Thanks for watching friend!
