It’s a lovely space, I’m absolutely jealous. It must be so nice in the US having all that extra basement space. We don’t have that in Australia and my bedrooms are full of kids so my crafting space is my kitchen table and everything has to be cleared away three times a day so we can eat 🤣. How do you sew on a bar stool? I’m not short, 5’7 or so, and I can’t imagine being able to reach the pedal from a bar stool.

I moved into my new crafting space back in October of 2023 and i have to say i really love my crafting space. i have organized it into zones just as you have and i found even after many purges that i still have way too many packed boxes left. My hubby calls me the Tetris Queen, if there is a space open the things are put there all neat and tidy and it just flows nicely. My crafting space is in the loft in our over sized double garage and it is the biggest space i have ever had for crafting. it is also unfinished there is a carpet on the floor which keeps the loft warm during the summer and a little warmer in the winter months it is absolutely freezing in there. Here in Canada it get really cold not as cold as some places on this planet but cold enough and with no insulation in the walls its not a good place to craft at the moment it is too hot and i have moved things around so many times and then back again. I really love your crafting space Bethany its so neat and tidy and so bright and beautiful there is no in your face colours just subtle hugh's and its so perfect i just love it. IKEA is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon all the new gadgets bins and storage solutions are so inspiring to me, I know a few you tubers in the crafting world have Ikea craft rooms and one day i keep telling myself my craft room will be finished so i can do the crafts without freezing or boiling to death in the cold and heat respectively. It is an investment for sure and i have a farm to run also and my hubby is a tech savvy kinda guy so he can help out in that department. I didn't even think to use the IKEA app to design a space because it tally's it up so you know how much you have to put your pennies in a jar to buy it. Their kitchen builder program is awesome i have used that before when i was looking to renovate my kitchen in my old house. You have inspired me to make my space more beautiful and functional and i may have to use some of the products you have used also. I bought those plastic tab on your bins they are awesome i just love them so much. i love your embroidery machine and the heat presses and i only have one Cricut an explore air 2, I would love to get an Xtool laser cutting tool but that is an investment for another time. My craft room is functional i just feel like something is missing and i cannot put my finger on it. any ways the tour was so worth waiting for i have a list to go buy for my craft space so thank you for sharing with us. I hope you hubby and your kiddos are all doing well and enjoying your summer holidays. Kids don't stay kids for long before you know it you will be empty nesters and then the grand kids coming for their summer holidays to spend with Grandma. Ask me how i know this! They love coming to their old Grandma to do crafts have some swimming and hot tub time play with the horses, playing ball soccer and just having fun we love having them we just forget how much energy they have, my grand Daughters are coming up for 12 years old and 5 years old respectively and we love them to bits. Summer is all about having fun that's why the kids are out of school to give the poor teachers a break bless their hearts. i love your teacher gifts too very nice. well i look forward to the next video and the next crafting session sometimes i craft along with you in my craft space. You have a BEAUTIFUL craft room! So airy and space efficient where walk through to search for things is not stressful. Great planning! Thank You for the tour and ideas, I’m a DIY’er, but also like to engage in many kinds of crafts/art to keep busy. In Miami when I lived there, I was a teacher but also worked at the church helping the Senior Citizens Center with activities, outings and referral Services among other things related to the Church’s needs for Seniors who couldn’t attend Sunday Mass, we had a program for them. My daughters watched me create many things as they grew up. As toddler stages in Puerto Rico where I began my jewelry skills to Miami in their elementary stages all the way to their Last Year of High School. My skills took to many kinds of DIYs. But I’ve always been a DIY’er since my young years, many years spent at the Library reading for hours on end (from opening to closing). So I had an early start since I had no parents and was an endangered Fetus Abduction Case, I had to rely on myself. I did pretty good because my daughters grew up inspired by my creativity and skills. Thanks Again, it was truly beautiful to watch. 👏👏👏👍🥰💐🏆. 🫶😇

Your room turned out gorgeous! I completely agree about giving yourself grace in organizing your space, I'm constantly rearranging and trying new storage methods I see people using. Love the idea of the lazy susans! I never would've thought of that in a craft room! Lol to your husband giving you a card you made to your birthday, that's hilarious 😂. Idea for your 12x12 scrapbook paper because I'm the same way, I never use it. I went through all of my packs and took out the ones I didn't like and know I'll never use. Then the ones I did like that weren't like a whole sheet image, I cut into 4 A2 panels. Whether you use it as a whole panel or cut pieces out of it, I find it less intimidating to work with. Hope this helps!
