Cysts are usually (but not always) firm to the touch.There are cases where a ganglion can feel rock hard because the fluid is under so much pressure. But, some people report that the fluid-filled cysts are soft. The lump likely moves easily under your skin and would move with motion in your fingers.

Don't be scared it is not painful at all I had it and the doctor gave me an anesthesia before removing it

@@HemKanwar-yd2yl yeah I'm terrified about the anesthesia because I've heard a few stories of people waking up in the middle of the surgery and experienced the agonizing pain...or else being in a coma stage just because of the anesthesia...
