The DA held its ground despite all the criticism it received from every quarter!!

Coalition of ANC/MPC will be better choice now. Make IFP leader deputy president to Ramaphosa, DA take finance ministers position and ANC take parliament speaker.

I must apologise to Mike. You were right about the EFF. I am disappointed, though.

MK was nothing before Zuma, and MK will be nothing after Zuma. MK is simply a platform to harm the ANC at the polls, and they succeeded.

I do agree DA and ANC will have to rescue SA with the MPC

Thank you Mike for showing the integrity to acknowledge the DA. It's unfortunate that the media assaults the DA and I hope we can turn that corner as a nation because they represent a brighter future. No doubt they will say some polarising things but I think it's more calculated than it seems sometimes. That being said burning the flag was a mistake. They took a dive in the polls right after that ad. Hindisght is 20/20 but lets hope they turn it into foresight

Despite all the gvt failures the DA and MPC have hardly made a dent. Look at the combined vote share of ANC, MKP, EFF.

22% on extreme left of ANC. 38% centre right. No brainer where ANC coalition should be. But has the ANC got brains ?

I think to describe the performance of the DA as “remarkable” is far too kind. For all intents and purposes, they have recovered a lot their votes that went to FF+ in 2019 and only few new votes. The party still remains unattractive to the majority of black voters, which is a problem for the long-term viability of a political party.
