It was made 70years back. At that time no other language movies given such a great movie in mythology on Bhishma. NTR acted as Bhishma in his young age with different getups, with great Modulation and diction. Around 5years period of Bhishma movie, NTR acted many different Charecters in mythological movies such as Sri krishna, Sri Rama, Arjuna, Bhima, Ravana, Indrajit, Suyodhana and Valmiki etc., No other Actor did it in India.

No comparison, ముకేష్ khanna also did excellent, but NTR Sri krishna pandaveeyam was the role model of TV serial Mahabharat

TV serials are made in detail, with maximum scope for actors because the serials run for months and years. But, in a movie, the actors have to bring out their ultimate performances only within 2-3 hours. NTR was famous for his versatile roles and acting, for nearly 50 years. What about Mukesh Khanna? Also, the mannerisms of Hindi and Telugu people are different. Southern Indians are more expressive. So, a true comparison is difficult.

Telugu mytholohical films are inspiration for all other subsequent Indian mythological films and TV serials regarding histrionics, body language and costumes of various characters of the epics..
