Gadkari saab has done exceptional work jn the last 10yrs. It’s high time that govt makes BS-6 mandatory for buses and trucks, mainly RTC buses and Autos.

Vikram Bhai... it is commonly understood that by driving an electric vehicle, you are not polluting the environment... BUT, more electric vehicle means more electric consumption... When 80% of electric generating plants in India are Thermal Power plants, which means producing electricity by burning coal, do you think we are reducing polution ? Or, is it just a marketing gimmick ?

More over electric vehicle has already done more pollution than diesel car while mining of battery ingredients lithium etc and tyres get more rubber Loss in environment due to heavy battery load and break pads also loose its dust more in environment due to heavy weight of ev ?

Actually i am impressed and excited for it. Finally evs will be more and petrol and diesel less. One more reason why i love living in the US as an Indian because 1. Evs show their importance 2. Plus there is no solid plans for disposal of batteries, even today the mobile phone , earpiece batteries are generating a lot of e waste ... Now imagine the large EV batteries. Till the time the basics are not sorted the EV push is wrong ... Hybrid technology is the proper way to go forward
