Always nice to see these Ford Escort Mk2. Oh wow, an NSU Ro80. Definately a rarity. Even a right hand drive. The red Panther is a car I was getting to see in last year - the very first Panther I got in front of my camera. The E-Type is really very low. The Jaguar at 4:22 is looking beautiful in this colour. These little Rileys are cute - like a Mini with a boot. Rover 820 is also great to see. Haven't seen one for a long time. Well, actually a lot of Rovers disappeared after BMW did kill the brand. Jensen Interceptor - never seen it here. The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is really looking majestic. Oh wow, at 8:00 the old DKW Auto-Union F102 with its 2-stroke engine. If it has the square headlamps then it was the F103 when the car got the Audi badge with the 4-stroke engine, e.g. Audi 60 (the 60 stood for the horse powers back then). Really interesting about this Ford Capri Mk2 that it is so basic with the old steel wheels with the chrome caps. Looking very nice and original. You don't see them like this too often.

Thanks Sven. I too was surprised to see a RHD NSU Ro80 in the UK - I know Audi UK have one in their heritage collection but thought that was about the only one left. Yes, that E Type didn't look right did it. At 17 my friend Jamie had a Riley Elf as his first car!!! It didn't handle very well - I remember him losing it on a corner, with me as a passenger, at about 45mph and thinking - 'oh no, this is it' - but he got away with it. Funnily enough Rover 820's, although rare, are still fairly affordable here in the UK - would be worth buying and storing for another 10 years :) 3 more parts to come, though I might interrupt the run with another of the series 'all the cars I've ever owned' - not a very highly viewed set of videos but I still want them out there!!!!

A Panther J72 as well as the Rio. I liked the Deville , Lima and Kallista. The Mk2 Cortina has definitely had a roof chop and that's not easy at all to keep proportions correct. Takes a lot of skill and work to get it right. It not just a a question of chopping the roof off and sticking it back on lower down its all the angles involved. I know what you mean about seeing the same cars but you know a lot of the car nuts have more than one. Even if you do see the same cars it doesn't matter its the social aspect and having a good natter. The little Riley elf looked a corker. Nice white S3 Bentley, much underrated cars for too many years. TI would say the were they come from the last era when people who had a Rolls were somebody well to do and not just anyone had them. An early Audi dkw f102 a rare sight indeed. Good show Mike. I assume there is more to come? Will look forward to it. Until you said it was only early i thought there were not as many cars there as i expected.
