This would be on my rack but-- The price VS the warranty is prohibitively. Cables and weights will dominate the market until this is a proven technology and shows it is a reliable product.

Looks neat! How does the weight feels like? In standard mode, does the resistant feels really smooth and consistant? Can one be fooled that it a stack pulley? Can you describe the feeling, is it satisfying? Also: I'm not sure if I see it right - do those silver parts where the rope is comming out are actually a rotating bearings? Or the line is just sliding on a pollished metal part (it kinda looks that way). Do you plan to make a in-depth review? Thanks!

It feels good and consistent throughout the movements. The outer metal part is not rotating bearings but it does rotate 360 degrees so the cable can move in any direction

So since its a computer it probably needs to be charge all the time?? What if it malfunctions since its a computer?

For their asking price, just buy a functional trainer or rep Ares/Athena power rack.

How is the resistance on this, does it feel smooth / reasonably like a traditional cable machine?

Yes feels like a traditional cable machine but you can also increase/decrease the eccentric portion. Also has two other settings, resistance band and damper With resistance band, it gets harder the further you pull the cord. With damper, the faster you pull the more resistance you get. Definitely an advanced piece of equipment

Different machines. This does more than the flywheel trainer.

How would you compare to the dual ancore pros? I know this is twice the price and then some but thats the closest comparison I can think of

Yeah it’s the closest product I’ve seen. Voltra goes up to 200 lbs of resistance vs Ancore’s 65 max. And Voltra has 3 modes: (1) Weight training (like a cable machine) with the option to adjust the eccentric portion and add a “chains” option like when you add chains to a barbell (2) Resistance band mode where the further you pull out, the harder the resistance gets (3) Damper mode where the faster you pull, the harder it gets

@@ShreddedDad yeah this looks killer, im in a dusty garage though so prob wont be ideal for me… hopefully this stuff matures and pricing improves, def cool to see more options for those of us without the space!

what if you don't have holes in the sides of your rack and just have them in front and back? Will it still work?

Yes it will work. You’ll just need a different mount. There’s two other options that work for your rack. They’re called adaptive and fixed mount

Yeah, it’s 200 lbs of resistance and had several modes of training that a functional trainer doesn’t

Can it legit replace a lat pull down machine? I see that u have to do pull downs at an angle since the voltra does not sticks out fir the cable to ve vertical on top of you?? And is it $5000 for 2😮😮

$2000.....you could buy your local gym instead.
