If you have a shallow rack use sidewalk chalk and a yardstick to make a line on your flooring where to stand.
The back extension thing in the end is actually fucking genius. Thanks.

Found this channel a little before COVID hit. When home gyms started being built I thought about this channel and can’t imagine the traffic that must be coming right now during the pandemic. Good for you Coop! You have a great channel and I’ve learned a lot from ya! Appreciate your vids!

I use 3/4" black steel pipe as DB bars as well as for a pullup bar, and I would use a longer one as a BB if I needed to (its outer diameter is 1", my 1" standard plates fit it). Also, 3/4" Galvanized Split Ring Hangers work perfect as clamps and spacers for you hands.
Wow, the hyperextensions using the rollers is brilliant! Big fan of your channel, Coop. I am building my garage gym and have made many purchase decisions due to your reviews site and KZread channel. Keep up the amazing work!
I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzread.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
Thanks to you I've started living in my squat rack.

Magnetic Collar is a move! I was amazed to see those chains not fall when you hooked them up! Thanks for the tips Coop!
I’ve had a home gym since 2010 ! Never going back doing circuits, supersets and whatever I feel like doing when I wanna do is just the best!
I love The back extensions idea, epic
Great video Coop. I enjoy all of them, this may have been my favorite. Cheap, easy, DIY to optimize home gym equipment
The utility pin idea is genius.
I'm definitely going to use a couple of these as I build out my home gym. The collar magnet, pulley system, and back extension are definitely going to be making an appearance.
Thank you Coop. Excellent tips will def implement at least 3.
The sound effects in this video are CRISP and hilarious. Def a value add to this and I hope to hear more!
I can’t thank you enough for this great tip regarding the attachment of magnets to bar collars. Put them on yesterday and can’t say enough about how convenient this is. Thank you!
Awesome hacks, never would have thought of the back extension. Awesome video as usual.

How big are those magnets? I'm only seeing 1.26" diameter circles on Amazon, which seems like they'd be massive for even a larger collar, but maybe I'm overthinking it....🤔

I havnt seen my dad since I was 9 years old... he said he was going to get cigarettes and never came back. I forgot to mention.... he was a magnet... so when you tell me to "just go get magnet..."... you make me wanna lift... hard... hard and heavy... real heavy. And real hard.... Thanks for the moto. Great video.
Mind blown, great video! edits are getting funnier and funnier haha
For the pin & pipe safeties I used a piece of heat shrink to protect my bar. It turned out pretty good!
Coop, Took your advice ordered the magnates, and added a little colored tape to them. Genius idea and so simple!

FYI - pinpipe braided vinyl tubing: the Lowe's product (which looks exactly the same as the HomeDepot offering) fits over my RML pinpipes perfectly, no need to cut them. Awesome idea, thanks Coop! Manufacturers should absolutely offer this as standard or a cheap add-on to pinpipes...

As usual, great podcast.
Coop, for the pin/pipe safeties, the Rogue R3 actually does have safety straps you can buy for them. I bought an RML-3 back in November and substituted the pipe safeties for straps for an additional $100. TOTALLY worth the cost of upgrading
Great info!
You could also wrap the pipe with an old bike tube!
First home rack comes Thursday. The back extension is genius with the leg rollers I got em and that never crossed my mind..
I really enjoy your sense of humor lol thanks for the hack. you doing towel pull ups just reminds me mike chang with his towel rows.
These were really great tips! Excited to get my hands on some magnets now
Love the GHD hack
I always wondered why these companies charge so much for an arch decal when it's just advertising, they should just include them 🤷♂️ Great tips btw
Brilliant recommendations! Now I have to get some magnets.
Love this video
Please make more of these videos!
Great video 👍
Coop, I’ve got a hack for the plate storage pegs that come with these racks. The hex nuts and bolt ends tear up your plates when you push the plate back onto the storage post. To stop that, I bought some rubber furniture chair leg covers. My local hardware store sells them in a bunch of different sizes. The rubber chair leg tip fits snuggly over the lock washer next to the rack. When you push your plates onto the post they stop at the rubber instead of hitting the post hardware.
Thanks, good video - from NYC 😮.
Nice list! I use colored electrical tape to mark my Jcup and safety locations and just write on them with a silver sharpie. Definitely going to try a few of the others tho
Super informative

Great video. I do the same as you did with the plate holders but with monster pegs.
Good stuff man!
Thank god that I now have a way to mark the j-hook position for my deadlifts!
I like the magnets. I used my daughters sidewalk chalk to mark where my J hooks go. I think I like the magnets better. Thanks for video.

The last one is by far my favorite.
