Actually I am very thankful that you did that microphone test which most reviewers of such systems fail to include. And I am fairly surprised by the quality the mic apparently produces. In the search of a perfect hybrid between a music and an online meeting device which is also super portable you just might have led me to the perfect one on the market. Where it helps a lot that they even added the connectivity over the USB-C cable which I haven't seen on any other like headset. Thanks for the review!

I still rocked my OnePlus neck band headphones which has magnetic earbuds that turn on and off when magnetized. I am a remote worker and I use them over earbuds because of battery life. I prefer in ear over other styles.

Those OP buds were AWESOME. I'm sad we dont see that magnet feature on other neckbands.

Thanks for this! Does USB-C support audio in via USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter? Also, what do you think of these compared to the 1MORE ANC Neckband you reviewed years ago? Thank you!

When these are plugged into a pc's usb port can you also use the built in mic like a gaming headset?

The USB audio mode is awesome! The wired USB-C headphones never really took off unfortunately. One question, does the microphone work as an audio input in wired mode? I've looked at an Austrian Audio BT headphones, which also support wired over USB-C (both analog and digital) but only for listening. :/

I got the moondrop little white. You have to add items but you can add whatever one you want. Plus it has a high gain mode that with an adapter can push some of my more expensive headphones. You love neck bands that's my recommendation

Best of two worlds, seem to me, neckbands with 2 pin connections, so instead of a fixed pair of earphones or monitors you throw in the one you already love and own. If you own more than one set of iems you can connect the one tunned to your current preference, be it crystal clear vocals, or that other set with a very forgiving sound, later the bassheaded ones for some fun... I've checked a couple of them from moondrop and kinera, seems there's quite a few options from chi-fi brands. Thanks for another great review.

I like the retractable style of the LG TONE BlueTooth neckbands. I just wish the retracting cable was sturdier, and the microphone was in the earbuds and not the neckband (as it kept getting clogged).

Yeah that would be cool. They totally could have made the shielding a little thicker on the Tone Studio cables, but the other Tones had VERY little room to coil those cables.

I'm still using my LG Tone Pro HBS-770's. Neckband...(check) aptX...(check)....and they sound better than any earbuds other than the "Between Pro True Wireless Earphones" For $150 you would think they would have aptX HD but, aptX is good enough.

I have the tone flex version but that doesn't have any apt-x or HD. But it did have class leading assistant functionality where you could use a dedicated assistant button to compose text, take voice notes, listen to notifications. And rather than just prompt your assistant on your phone It actually had the technology built in. Sadly I think the only thing LG has released since that line up with a generic OEM neckband that didn't have any of those built-in assistant functionality. I actually wished they still made the tone studio which had little speakers You could use if the earbuds were not pulled out from their housing.

Yeah Michael, I REALLY miss those voice and assistant features. The only version of that idea that worked better was on the focals by north. Damn shame more earbud manufacturers dont add some of that back.

@@SomeGadgetGuy funny thing is, many phones lost support for Adaptive. SD sound is already out. The codec war continues, I still look for opus codec headphones.

Yeah. It's a bummer. I saw them in stock at amazon for a while, but it's also tricky to make sure you're really getting the ANC model.
