Brenda's mistake was actually believing Kelly was her friend in the first place. She wasn't Brenda's friend before Dylan, during Dylan or after Dylan. Kelly always had a major chip on her shoulder when it came to Brenda. Even in the reboot, she treated Brenda rudely.

Even in real life interview before Luke Perry died, he mentioned his favourite on screen love, he picked Brenda. The ten year reunion after the show had finished shows how much Luke and Shannon got along in real life. The look on Jennie Garth face said it all when he picked Brenda as his favourite love. 😂😊

It's weird because Dylan was happy with Kelly when he was cheating on Brenda and even at the beginning of their relationship he suddenly changed only after his father died.

I love how Dylan just stand there at 1:55. I mean he didn't have to say anything, his face said it all what he was thinking about Kelly. Like he's thinking; "You deserved that." Brenda never had a problem telling it like it was or standing up for herself. That's why I loved her.

Why did she "deserve it"? He's the one who wanted to have a relationship with Kelly and who insisted, she had largely left him the choice to stay with Brenda, he just had to assume and not treat her like he does.

What irritates me about this scene is Kelly bringing up Palm Springs, as if Brenda had called Dylan to come pick her up. Brenda called Kelly -- NOT Dylan -- after she'd already called Brandon and couldn't find him (because Brandon and Kelly were off at a luncheon). Brenda was initially resistant to the idea of Dylan picking her up, saying she'd take the bus and to forget he called. Yet Kelly somehow makes Dylan's decision Brenda's fault?

I looooove when he reaches his hand out to her when she’s in the doorway. 😍 Every interaction between Brenda and Dylan is so natural, in sync, and true to how special they are to each other. It doesn’t seem forced and tense like it did with Kelly at times. Now that I think about it, even when Brenda and Dillon would fight during their relationship, it had such passion behind it. It wasn’t just bickering, but getting things out and eventually reconvening to a mutual understanding or solution. Like the time Dylan got upset with Brenda for writing the article about her pregnancy scare. When he fights with Kelly, it seems more from annoyance from her selfish or childish behavior.

Kelly was always going to feel threatened by Brenda, because #1 her affair she had with Dylan, and #2, she knew that Brenda would always be his first and only love. The great love rather as the same for Brenda. Although they broke up, Dylan and Brenda still stayed the best of friends. Because no matter what, the Walsh family meant a lot to him and helped him during his darkest moments. So he would never turn his back on Brenda, look how he holds his hand out to her. Need I say more? :)

Dylan would have not agreed to that himself. Check the "old playground conversation" between D and K, somewhere in the S3E20...30 range. Life is much more complicated than that.

If I was Brenda I wouldn’t have forgiven either of them. Kelly is supposed to be Brenda’s best friend, and she broke the girl code. In the 1st season she admits she tried to break them up, but apologized making it seem like she wouldn’t ever again. And Dylan was supposed to be loyal to brenda, and let’s be honest, they were never really friends, they were always dating it’s ridiculous for them to go back to being “friends.”

I was teenager, begin of '90s, born 1979. Each Saturday, 6pm, Polish open channel One (TVP1). This was my time to seat and follow this series. I loved Beverly hills 90210. I think, i will come back to it, i will watch it again :)

yeah I was too.....I adored seasons 1-4 and still watch them. Even without social media the show was BIG. The day after we'd be gossiping in class and annoying the teacher who was trying to teach us.

yeah there was an episode where she was wearing the same outfit as Brenda and Brenda was like I don't give a damn when Kelly was trying to explain the purpose of why she should wear the dress and not Brenda was so funny

I love how Dylan always sacrifices himself for Brenda-even Kelly!! :D You know by this time that Dylan wants Brenda back and that his breakup with Kelly is just around the corner!! :D

Kelly's tired of feeling like she owes her something all the time, it's just silly. She needs to MOVE ON-Brenda and Dylan broke up, he made his choice and she needs to accept that once and for all; just because she was with him first doesn't mean she owns Dylan; calling Dylan made NO sense; this was a federal offense and I really dont blame Kelly for feeling the way she did - I would be bothered by it too, anyone would!

To Kelly it is all about her beauty queen stigma that she used to get to him, and actually took Dylan away from Brenda which she should be Brenda's friend, and should have been supportive of her feeling's instead of walking all over them. Dylan picked up, it was his choice to get her, it was never Brenda’s intention to have him pick her up. By the time Brenda got arrested, it was pretty clear by then Dylan was her only friend and the only one she could trust, a lot different to be expecting to be “saved all of the time”. That’s just insecure Kelly BS which for some reason, you’ve eaten up despite show showing otherwise lol

Kelly became very intuitive, she knew when someone was BS like Valerie lol Valerie wanted so bad to convince Kelly otherwise but Kelly wasn't having it because it was... BS ; oh and Brandon and Kelly, SNORE! No passion, no nothin lol I liked her with Dylan -thye had amazing chemistry and they were always drawn to each other

I loved them all every episode and will be watching every new episode coming out in August will miss Dylan on there RIP

The other seasons are worth a watch ( at least through season 7 imo) though I wish Brenda would've stuck around. Would've been interesting to see her and Valerie together. Especially since Valerie and Kelly hated each other.

I hate the way the writers wrote this show. I loved Brenda and Kelly’s friendship the first and second season, but the writers ruined that by making them cheat. In season 1 Kelly told Brenda she tried to break up her and Dylan, and Brenda was made but eventually forgave her, and it seemed like Kelly would never actually do something like that she was so honest about it. For her to just go and do exactly that, one season later is despicable. And I hate how in the new BH 90210 Kelly has Dylan’s baby and he abandoned them, and Brenda is alone as well. I could’ve lived with nothing after the show ended Kelly and Brenda could have found happiness with other people, married with children perhaps. But they made in the new show that Dylan Brenda and Kelly are all alone and didn’t start a family like they wanted. Kelly in the new show at least wanted a husband, and Brenda wanted a family, but neither of them really got it. The writers of the new 90210 ruined their characters, only to bring them in for a few episodes.

Something about from Kelly's words and her attitude to Brenda : Love is the practice of human power that only could be realized in freedom. "Erich Fromm" Kelly always showed the deep insecurity of be Dylan's girlfriend. She was completely wrong. Nobody could be forced to love her, Kelly ,and less when this man, Dylan, only loved other woman, Brenda. Dylan and Brenda forever❤❤❤

I do love kelly and Dylan but Kelly could be harsh at times especially after she and Dylan fell in love, she has to understand that can still be raw for Brenda. But on the flip side, I see why she gets annoyed because its like she doesn't want to feel like she has to constantly walk on egg shells because of that. Brenda should have contacted her parents, NOT Dylan - this was a FEDERAL offense, this wasn't a freakin DUI.

Kelly was always majorly defensive when it came to her relationship with Dylan, which I think is because they got together behind Brenda's back, and so she was constantly trying to prove to herself that Dylan honestly wanted to be with her, and there were times when she tried to make Dylan prove it to her. Like the Palms Springs incident with Brenda - when they came home, Dylan went right over to Kelly and kissed her hello. She could have left it at that, but she gave him attitude about it, expecting Dylan to make her feel better, and he just walked away, because he was sick of Kelly's mind games.

Yeah when Dylan "chose Kelly" at the party, she instantly asked him if it's because she showed up at the party and Brenda didn't. I think deep down she knew Brenda was his first live and she started feeling paranoid.
