With Beverley 10k on the following day both me and Naomi opted for a dog jog for our Saturday morning parkrun fix this week. Paying our once a year visit to Beverley Westwood, the closest parkrun to Naomi’s parents.
One of her personal favourites, taking place on the open Westwood pasture set in Beverley. Farmland and livestock have the right to roam here, employing cow marshals to ensure the safe running of our Saturday morning parkruns from time to time. It’s a cracking off-road route, set entirely on grass, just over 200ft of climb over two laps. It’s an enjoyable cross country style course, surrounded by Beverley town centre, a golf course and a racecourse. It’s definitely one for the parkrun bucket list!
