The prepositions between vs. among are easily confused. And for good reason. Sometimes both between and among can be used correctly in a sentence.
However, depending on the use of these English prepositions, you need to choose one or the other.
Getting them right is important for accuracy in conversation. Moreover, exams such as the IELTS and TOEFL often test your understanding of these easily confused words in English.
Although sometimes similar, the prepositions between vs. among also have distinct differences.

- Distinct uses of the preposition among
Plus, you'll get practical examples of these prepositions in English and simple advice to follow when you're not sure which word to choose.

Dear Ann-Marie, I am so happy that I met you on KZread! You made my day every time I watched your video. I admire your constant work and efforts! Thank you very much for that! I take a courage to ask you a quick question if I may. I should write my working plan for 2024 in English. Could you please let me know if it is correct to write in my plan the following: 1.Study the Cauchy problem for... 2.Consider the case... 3.Begin to study something.... It doesn't sound that I order someone to do that, does it? Or is it more appropriate to write: I plan to study...I plan to consider, etc? I will be very grateful for your attention.
