@@jonglaubitz4021 Why? She was singing the story with such truth. Doesn't matter who wrote it. I was meaning her phrasing is very blues authentic... but hey, she's black. Sure, Dylan wrote it, but sang it like a white man. She's like a skinnier Tina,Turner!

Great vocal by Bettye and terrific accompaniment by her band. Kudos to the keyboardist, drummer, bassist and guitarist for lending just the right touch to really put this song over. It goes without saying that Bob Dylan's songwriting song writing his terrific - This is one of his best later career efforts.

Damn she’s giving Dylan a run for it with this rendition, her ad libs are right on. Makes me think of when Hendrix did like a rolling stone and made it his own or all along the watch tower

How did she fall through the cracks of the music industry for so long? She's got more heart and soul than any singer on the scene today, not to mention many "stars" of the past! The only singers that come close to this level are Mavis Staples and K.D. Lang.

Found her by accident. She has a very nice sound. I don't know her songs but sounds cool. I am not a Bob Dylan fan but this is cool. Maybe now I will be.
