Adele has been my favorite modern singer for awhile; the slight rasp and tremor to her voice is unique. However Angelina Jordan has that and more. Her range is phenomenal, from a rasp to a trill to a sweet high tremor like no one, other than Billie Holiday has ever done. Also she sings all the timeless Jazz and Blues , as well as the modern classics which just “caress” her own unique tones and she puts such feeling in it that the ear just melts into it. I hope she never loses that quality of tone which she mastered at seven years old - as her voice matures; she’s still so young. I just Adore Angelina Jordan.

Covering Adele is difficult enough but doing it live as wondefully as Angelina did is outstanding!

Love Adele and her singing but there just something in AJ voice that just grabs ya !!!!

Only a few singers can make me FEEL, and Angelina is one of those. Dimash is another one who has that ability.

When I watched your reaction video of Angelina singing "I Put A Spell On You" when she was 9, I thought her voice sounded like a hybrid of Adele and Amy Winehouse (I can't promise I will live through it if she does a cover of "Back To Black"!). Angelina certainly has the ability to hit notes the way both of those artists do/did. And as so many others have commented, she has her own style and makes each song she sings HERS. That's a unique gift. Thanks again for all you do!

It's one thing to have has much inner soul when you're singing but it's totally another story to present it with the vocal ability with regard to range that this young girl has. High, low, and everything in between she does effortlessly.

Angelina puts her own special little twists in every song she covers and it's soo good.

Angelina´'s last release was the 3 AGT performances, and "Above the water" from January this year. We have heard nothing from her as a 14-year-old. Just before Corona, she or her mother told that something big was on the way. It's been half a year now and I do not think she's gone idle - Any day now...!!!

She coves Adele alot and does the songs better in my opinion! I like Adele but Angelina just adds something special!

She's singing to us, not for us. I think that's why we enjoy it so much

Cover artists of course have the advantage to work on a model. And when it`s Angelina and a soulful song or ballad it mostly means lights out for the original artist. On a side note - There are hardly any news from her in the last few weeks. The whole thing seems to get a little wild in California, so hopefully she and her family does well.

Angelina"s interpretation of every song she sings is faultless. The arrangements, expression, pitch and genre all seem so appropriate to each song and add meaning to every phrase in the songs. She has an ethereal quality in her voice at times, although she can bring the forces of the heavens into her renditions of greats such as Amy Winehouse as well, and as she continues to perform with bare feet this also adds to the mystique of the stellar Angelina Jordan.

Who is better? Personally, i never answer directly to that kind of question. Vocal art is not a competition between artists, but an art form, the purpose of which is to give to an artist the opportunity with each performance to show what he or she brings artistically that is different, inspiring, new, heart warming, soul consoling. It must be heartbreaking for Angelina to read comments that put as inferior to hers the performances of her idol. It is like suggesting that Angelina's taste for the original singer is questionable. Angelina's reaction to that kind of question would surely be, like it has been for Adele concerning her, to higly compliment the artist that inspired her cover and, for Adele, to highly compliment the young artist, both in a very humble, sincere, intelligent and respectful way. Your opening comment, Omeezy, is quite accurate concerning singers in general and your analysis of Angelina's performance is exemplary. You know what you are talking about because you are an artist yourself. Angelina makes me feel here, as usual i might add, that it is her personal story, her actual life experience about which she is singing emotionally with such a soulful conviction. Excellent comment. It’s the same with any art form. It’s not meant to be compared, ranked, evacuated with other art (or artist). And it is not necessary to put down other artists to raise Angelina up. I’m sure it’s not Intentional, but talking about how Angelina does Adele better than Adele, Lana better than Lana Del Ray, Amy better than Amy Winehouse etc... It doesn’t exactly do a service to the legacy those artists have left and the doors they have left open for a Angelina to walk through. We can’t really get inside her head but, like you, I’d be surprised if it was what Angelina wanted to hear. I’m curious, I’ve heard several times about how Adele has said nice things about Angelina Jordan. I can’t seem to find any of this when I search Google (no matter how I word the search, I end up getting reactions of Angelina performing Adele songs, lol). Do you know where she said that?

The main idea is that, when it has to do with artists, and especially singers covering originals, the best compliment one can offer to them with kindness of heart, gentleness of spirit and thoughtfulness is that, it seems to me, their tasteful choice of song warmed your heart by emulating the original. As for Adele, i learnt about her positive opinion concerning Angelina's covers in the comment section of a video reaction referring to social media, maybe Adele laudatory mention on Instagram about Angelina seeing her as an idol. If i find it, i will not hesitate to write to you about it.

To me if they were boxers Angelina scores a first round knockout, Angelina's voice is so much more soulful, she has added ingredients to her voice as far as changing it and adapting it no other artist can match no just Adele, Angelina is the only artist that can make you smile and cry within the same song, to me she is untouchable.

Better than Adele? "Better" is relative and subjective, but so far almost every time Angelina covers Adele, I prefer Angelina's cover to the original. She has done 7 Adele songs now and to find one that I would have to give Adele the edge on, you would have to go all the way back to when Angelina was 6 singing "skyfall". I would love to hear Angelina sing Skyfall now. She would probably own that one too.

Diana is a remarkable singer and performer who has endured great hardship in her childhood. I could see her in a Broadway musical someday. While Angelina is simply the best at singing other people's songs and making them her own. She is the most versatile singer on the planet. I love them as both singers and people.

There are two singers coming up that do the same thing but different from each other. Angelina is obviously one, the other is Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan, where Dimash is from. And yes they know each other well. These two don't do covers the do hostile take-overs, by the time they're done you will remember the original artist had something to do with the song, but the only voice you will hear singing it will be which ever of these two decided to cover it. There is up on the tube a video that has put both these singers doing their version of 'Stay'. I have to say that my only choice at the end was they both took that song and sang it their way. I love both these singers for reasons that might not make sense to everybody. You should listen to both and see how you feel at the end. For me my favorite is the one I'm listening to at that moment. So happy listening. Great reaction, until the next time.

Angelina has a lot of jazz influence. I think she likes to 'marinade' in the melody, and word enunciation is less important than the musical effect. She reminds me a lot of Billie Holiday in this regard.
