So sweet. I was blessed with being able to take care of my beautiful Momma in her last days and there with my family as she took her last breath. I so miss her but am thankful that I was there. I played music for her as well. So glad she had Jesus with her then and now for eternity.

I just found out my best friend has days of to live. We're bi-coastal. She's in CA+I am NYCrying+can't stop. She made me promise to make sure her kids are taken care of. Life imitating art much?! Omg life sux so much! WTF?!

I’m crying right now. My all time favorite movie

What is nice about this is that C.C. sang this song in a more upbeat manner at the beginning and she sang it nice and slowly here. I thought it was a great tribute to their friendship and a great way to dedicate it to her friend's memory.

I love how her style of singing the song changes over time, from childish bouncy, to loud theatre and finally as she her self has loved, been loved, lost love she ends up singing the song with so much tenderness and experience.

This song and well movie reminds me of my late best friend Betsy. 😢 she died if breast cancer. Found out she was pregnant and had cancer the same day.. ❤ she was a fighter... hugs to all that can relate. The laughter is deep the pain is real the memories are forever.

My best friend from elementary school found me after 40 years of separation. It's so wonderful having her back in my life. We're in our 60's now, but we picked up right where we left off. I sent her this movie and every time we haven't spoken for a while, she feels terrible and I use this movie's byline: "Some friendships last forever" We're just busy, not neglectful....

My mom looks exactly like Bette, she died 25 years ago. When I miss her I watch this movie.

I always think about my grandmother in this scene. When I lost her..I lost a lot. Still grieving. This movie gets me all the time. What a beautiful arrangement

i got you, my granny passed away 3 moths ago, soon it will be time to go to her house again and pack her stuff one last time, i relate a lot on what Victoria is feeling by leaving the home she grew up with her mother because evntually Hillary was not coming back..

I sobbed after I watched this movie. I lost so many loved ones in my life. Thankfully I still have my mom.

This film is truly a tearjerker and beautifully made

As a child I loved how it came full circle. As kids Hillary watched CeCe sing this and it ended with Victoria watching CeCe sing it. So devastating but beautiful ❤️ I loved that CeCe hated kids but would have given her life for Hillary and made the ultimate sacrifice by taking Victoria. Best friends are like Sisters- The bond is unbreakable.

I find this ironic: When C.C., as a kid, sings this song at the beginning, she sings it more upbeat and Hillary says she almost cried at it. When C.C., as an adult, sings it slowly, Victoria stands in the sidelines and smiles.

The name of the movie is "Beaches" made in about 1988. It is such a wonderful movie. Seen it about 20 times through the years. It shows off all sides of Bette. But make sure to get out the Kleenex. If you have ever lost someone close to you that you have loved with all your heart. This movie is soooo cathartic. If you feel touched by it and are crying, just remember there is someone crying with you too...

My Mother loved this song also and died on her death bed at 68.

watchng ts video is.... very..very hard...when you lose someone this song, both heals those wounds, and reopens them. When i hear it i cant help but cry and feel amost nothing bt pain and guilt..silly huh?.... well...when, your grandparent, your grandmother, is the woman who raises you, teaches you and loves you all your life...you Honestly cant help but cheerish their favorite song...and you cant help but feel gilt.
