Go get one I don’t believe how good it is under my finger! I never really own a decent tube amp but the feel of the Fm3 makes me play and sound better. That is what matters right!

Here is a follow up on my post. I purchased the FM3 Preset. I am blown away. They are the best out there. I have tried a lot of other presets out there that are usable, Used Davids presets at a venue last night and had so many compliments how superb my sound is. I can't thank our Brother enough for the months of putting together such a great sounding preset. Do your self a favor and get them,I promise you will love them, Again, David Thank you so much for sharing your blessing to us Fractal users & keep them coming, GOD Bless Brother

No need. FM3 can sound near identical on the same patch. It cannot however handle the more complex presets that the III can do. The FM9 is a very happy medium. It can do all you will ever need.

Should definitely do a comparison live with your amps and the axe FX

Hope this helps someone, I’m playing a Gibson SG with Custombucker pickups and was getting a ton of buzzing and feedback even on the clean and ambient scenes. All I did was delete the studio compressor and it sounds amazing now!

I'll save you the trouble, get an FM9- when you can. You will never look back. Leaps and bounds better than anything by Line6.

@@nathanpickett202 I was in contact with them last month and they told me they have no clue. Though rumor has it next month a bunch of them are going to be released at least in Europe no idea about the US. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I think we're getting close. I asked if I could at least then get a discount on an AXE FX III to which they quickly said no deal. It only seems right that they do something for the customer making us wait nearly a year is absurd. They knew they didn't have enough so why they put them on sale I have no idea. They sold out after A-day one they knew exactly how many they had on hand. It's not right IMO.

fm9 is better. you can technically play drums with one arm too but it's just not as good.

Just decided to get a FM9.

On this video at 3.33 you demo your clean sound. What amp model is used and what effects are included with your clean sound. I use a Boss GT 100 and want to try and duplicate it.

Hi Buddy amazing videos thank you ok. I can connect the avion inear system to the Kemper Stage {mini jack to avion headphone jack to kemper return L-R }to listen to the seq or tracks "for church or live perf" so i can listen exactly my guitar setup the way i set it up at home and it sounds the same because i plug my inears to the Kemper instead of the Avion System, can we do the same thing with the FM3? please say yesssss and show us 🤞Thank you in advance

Hey Andres, they are optimized for both and can be used in a pre-programmed effects mode or scenes mode.

All FM3 patches will work on FM9- not the other way around.

Hey David, Having trouble accessing the delays and reverbs with the FM3/FC6. I’ve setup the OMG9 layout but can only access the Drive, Drive +, Drive Lead, Pog (Trem), Chorus, Vibrato 😢 Can you take a look at it please?

How do I get this preset??? I have it on my helix. But I would love it on my FM9. Also. Can you do your orangeRockverb on the FM9. My favorite preset! I can’t get over it on my Helix

It’s tough to make a song specific for the stomp since it has so little dsp for dual amps and effects.

I just got your presets. Anyone else having artifacts while changing scenes? It's the only preset on my FM9 that does this...

These definitely sound clearer then the Helix patches. Be interesting to see how they compare. I think they sound amazing though!!

fractal is better out the box but with a lot of fine tuning helix can sound very similiar...just not as good. Better UI though on Helix.

Hey Dave. I have my FM9! I did the latest updates, both firmware 2.02 and edits. I purchased your FM9 files and I'm having a hard time getting them into my FM9. When I try to move the files themselves to my FM9 space I get a red circle with a red line thru your file? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know it's a simple mistake. Maybe you know what I need to do to import this?

What Furman model is on the FX3?

I got a question I’ve just purchased the lifetime everything bundle bigsky presets and when I open the file there’s only a small portion of the presets in it according to the list 115+ tracks . Am I missing something?

Hey Rafael - yes! The tonal quality of these presets is the same between all fractal products (Axe III, FM3, FM9). With the FM3, you can only run one amp at a time but both amps are included on channels A and B of the amp block.

Not even close. It is not good with effects. It has some decent amps and power.

They all sound exactly the same, but the fm3 can only do one amp at a time not dual amps, and you can add more effects and o a preset with the fm9/ axe3

That Veritas just sounds unreal man. What pickups are those? They sound clearer than I can ever get my HBs to sound.

I consider you an expert on guitar rigs, and have all of your Kemper \ IR stuff that I got earlier, and the Kemper rigs are my main rig sunday after sunday. I am tempted to try out the Axe-3. As an expert what would be your comments comparing both for sound quality ?

Same except the III can do things the FM3 can't dream of. FM9 is a great option. Can do most of what the III can and all of what the FM3 can do. Get on the list.

Hey Josh, some users have transferred it over to the FM9 but I haven’t tested it yet. My FM9 is on the way and I will be making a version ASAP, so I would wait for that one.

Bought these yesterday. They sound incredible, but I am noticing some audio gaps when changing between scenes. The channels on the amp and cab blocks aren’t changing so I’m not sure how to better optimize that.

@@jamespaulalvarez8451 Hey…hope you figured this out. My problem was that the cabs did not have the IRS loaded. They were set to None so there was no sound. Once you load the IRs, all good!

Hey Jamie, thanks for checking them out! What pedal are you on? The channels on the amp and cab blocks do not change. Only effects (drives, verbs, delays etc).

Does your helix patch have a similar stomp setup?
