No problem, I've had LOTS of problems over the years but this overloading the cpu can cause so many issues! I'm really glad I could be of some help 🙏, I'm trying to think of other videos on tips but when I try and think, nothing 🤔, but then I get an idea . Hope you are ok, thanks for commenting,

most death-rolls are related to desync, desync happens at the esc - motor level and has nothing to do with the flight controller load

Yep, i was waiting for someone to say that! Your totaly correct, desyncs like you say, motor magnets out of phase, like a missfire on a car! I shouldnt have said desyncs, cheers for pulling me on that! I just wanted to demonstrate that its not always a motor desync that causes a death role, its cpu load aswell Thanks ,i will pin this to the top if thats ok with you?

It's data packets missed for bidirectional dshot and is well bellow the threshold man like waaaaayyy below. Chill and go back to to 8k 600. Fraction rpm data missed for filtering and nothing significant enough to cause a taz out.

Exactly what i said, but simplified, bi-di puts cpu up 30% ish, and that drone had always flew perfect until i noticed it falling out the sky, because like i said, but tried to be noob friendly, check it, now yes, you could see on betaflight motors tab the error was not stable, like all other drone fc ive programmed. So yes you are totally correct, but i would rather have 0% error in the motors tab or on blheli_32 in the check tab and it not fall out the sky. Cheers for your comment

@@rcaddict9558 i’m doing OK man. Yeah I’ve been following you for a while now. I think since before you’ve even had like 200 subscribers. I think that in the realm of FPV, you’re a person who has a lot of software knowledge. I think that with the components that you understand, you should definitely help others who are facing some challenges. You seem to get a lot of views on your videos as well. Probably because you actually know what you’re talking about lol. As for me, I’ve been at new spots, just developing and stuff like that. I need to get my GoPro repaired. So right now. I’m just getting the feel for spots while I save up for another GoPro or repair on 2 of them. I think if you put out a good video, it’s going to get a lot of views no matter what. Well, most of the time. But the audience will always be there. Like if I had done 100 yard moonwalk combined with an inverted yaw spin and then Maddy scoop thru a low little bitty target, I would easily get 10,000 views. But I’m not lumpy FPV lol. Dude, you need to look up Infinity Loops on KZread and join the discord. Every Saturday night people post their videos and we roll through tons of them. I think that that would be a good place for you to grow your channel as well. There’s always like 60 to 80 pilots watching the stream live every Saturday night. Sometimes more depending on who’s in the room. Of course he is on East Coast time in the US.

So now to look why it happens spy the signals ? Could it f.i. also be related f.i.to ground loop and or communications noise issue between esc and fcu or f.i issue with the levels etc, which may become obvious at higher 8k speeds ?

Tried without gps, osd elements on 4.4 and above and on 8k 8k dshot 600 and was 0 bad frames, but didntvwant to confuse and bore people so made it short and sweet for noobs to check especialy The accelorometer/ gyro drift was the first clue, after it falling out the sky. Theres a github branch all about it and the mamba mk1 f722 is the example, i will send you the link

OK maybe I am missing something but the bad packets only represent 0.001% of actual error as compared to the good packets? Is this really enough to cause issues?

Ok so this is probably above my mental knowledge, but, if you are runninig bidirectional dshot we know that this puts ,30% cpu load on, average, so i was having death roles, and drifting issues on another drone but this drone in the vid was just falling in a test hover, so i spent ages going over the wiring ,settings etc to no avail! Then i turned the f722 fc down from 8k 8k dshot 600 to 8k 4k dshot 300, no death roles and this was over a year ago so i looked into things when i updated the fw a few weeks ago and as you can see, if a dshot frame is sent, then it needs to be returned, 0 error, so i would say the cpu is struggling like hell if 1100 odd frames out of 8500 on esc 4 are not being returned, thats how i see it♥️ cheers man

Its not all drones , i have 3 other mamba fc and they are all good its just something you must check! Every peace of OSD ELEMENTS, GPS, BI-DIRECTIONAL DSHOT ETC ADDS CPU . I have no problems with the mk2 mamba mini on 8k 8k. Its just if your experiening problems or a definate check after building. Thanks for commenting

Im know sperhero of drones, i just worked in the motor control, electronics automotive industry all my life, O, Whilst being a junky out of work🥺 But i noticedcit and i have alot of other things but i cant think, i think i might concentrate on flying for a bit as i like to reply, but its hard, last week i got no sleep and its taking its toll! I love all comments but i now realise that its hard work making videoes ,life in general and replying. How do these guys with loadsa subbs do it? They must have editors. What do you think?

But I hate posting a video if I haven't kept up with everyone elses videos and commenting on those. So I wait til I have enough time to catch up on everything, which is rare these days. :( I have no idea how big channels do it, I'm guessing they don't comment on anyone elses videos, that would certainly make it easier. probably a lot of copy paste replies too. Also, something funny 🤣🤣 I would never said years ago but dont care now ! When i was at senior school my hair started receding, i was that obssesed that i put a pencil mark there everyday! Just to see and i laugh now, all the comments "youl be bold at 20!" Etc So i was in Rehab and someone made a comment, my reply was "well look at all you lot, you all look the fing same!" So i decided to grow my hair, it solved 2 issues, my paranoia and now i have an identity!

@@rcaddict9558 lol I had some pretty long ass hair when I was younger and finally cut it all off when I started my IT career. Then I noticed my forehead growing and the longer my hair got, the more the baldness began to show. So now I keep it short as I can without shaving it. Since I started eating properly, I noticed it growing about twice as fast as before, stronger, healthier, and even a bit darker. My secret hope is that some of it grows back and I lose some grey. But that would be quite a surprise that I don't really have high hopes of. Glad you were able to find a way to solve your hair insecurity brother, every bit of confidence helps.
