Yeah I didn’t get it at first either I guess he meant as in I’m going to blast you a lot , I used to think he was taking me to an actually city called plasma lol

I know why they changed it, cause it's possible to upgrade your Lancer by this point, so it wouldn't make sense for it to degrade for a single cutscene

5:34 I like this song but I see why they changed it. Final music gives you more "store" and sort of "mall" feel since this is Megacorp store. This Beta song also for some reason gives sort of pirate feel.

I love these kind of videos, as a huge fan of the R&C franchise I enjoy every single video of yours. Keep it up!

39:05 the icebergs are moving, I'm pretty sure they were completely static on the final version. Also it seems that on Aranos the skybox clouds are always moving in the same direction, while in the final version their speed and direction depended of where you were staring

That Charge Boot glitch is also in the final version of UYA. If you go to the asteroid ring floating around in the Obani Gemini, you can charge boot off and go flying.

Also they should have changed the line of Ratchet saying "plasma city" as the wrench doesn't discharge plasma. So I guess the line is a leftover from this.

Thatd explain why the slot machines have always sounded distorted and sped up in the final game to me, maybe they accidentily sped up the sound too when they sped up the slot machine

Yeah! In the original PS2 version you can either hit them with the wrench or shoot them with the Lancer and they'll tip over. Or, you can shoot them with the Gravity Bomb and they'll explode with garbage flying everywhere.

I don't understand why they removed constant shooting with charge boots in the final. Would have felt useful if they kept it in. But I totally understand the miniturret limit. I would have been abusing the hell out of that weapon if there wasn't one.

Idk if it was mentioned in a previous video, but the legs on the ship are seen on the final version on planet tabora, when your ship is broken. A lot of other things too that are not too noticable like ratchet's head popping off at the start of the game when he runs from the robots xD

This was my favourite on the ps2, got 99% completion thanks for the video

Here is how I ranked the ratchet games I played at least: 7. Ratchet and clank PS4 6. Ratchet and clank tools of destruction 5. Ratchet and clank crack in time 4. Ratchet and clank up your arsenal 3. Ratchet deadlocked 2. Ratchet and clank PS2 1. Ratchet and clank going commando Don't get me wrong I loved all of these games (ratchet PS4 not too much though) but obviously some are gonna be better than others and I never played any of the other games like quest for booty, size matters, secret agent clank, or all 4 one, full frontal assault, or into the Nexus and I don't think the PS4 reboot is awful or anything I actually still kinda enjoyed it it's just that it kinda feels a bit bland and flavorless compared to the others

Just a word of advice, don't put music over music, it doesn't sound well. Either disable the in game music or mute the in game audio to play a song over it or don't put an additional soundtrack over the footage. Now this is just an opinion, but using soundtracks from the game you're making a video on seems like a better choice then using soundtracks from other games.

Epic117Man thanks for the advice, I do try to mute the in game music most of the time, but sometimes certain version of the game don’t have audio options and sometimes I just forget to mute it. As for matching soundtracks, yes, that does sound like a better idea, especially now that I’m rewatching this video.

@@RCLombax I will say I am a little biased on the opinion of soundtrack as the second game is both my favorite in the series and has the most soundtracks I really like, but it would just get the viewer more caught up in the game being shown as the soundtracks will bring back memories of the game.

Super late reply, but incase you never found the font, the game uses a modified version of a font called 'Simian Display' I just used the actual Simian Display in these videos, it's close enough lol

You missed some pretty big differences on Feltzin, first of all, when loading in, It's name is Quadrant 32a, additionally, there is an extra mission on Feltzin where you have to destroy the Space Wasp Nests if I'm not mistaken, It's been a while since I played it, I don't really remember lol. Oh i couldn't found it in the internet actually I really love huds and menus used in rac2 that's not my problem I can design them with ms paint or Photoshop but the only thing i couldn't found is the font style i tried every where but I only found future versions don't you even had saved in your pc?
