🐺 your rant about Faebound was hilarious. There was so much hype for it at first but now I keep seeing some mixed opinions. I'm happy to give that one a miss
I also can’t do audiobooks usually with fiction but somehow really enjoy Non-Fiction in audio format. You sold me with Dragon Age Origins! I had it on my TBR but I think I’m bumping it up now 😍

@@theBookMage Knowing me I won't promise it'll be soon, we'll see if I get to it before the next Dragon Age game comes out (honestly it's pretty neck and neck because Bioware and I both like to put things off 💀)

I loved Northern Wrath and gave it 4*, and Shackled Fates 4.5*. I was on a Norse kick too last month. I think I understand what you mean about the language/word choice. A bit like Greek myth retellings having 'Golden Dawn spread her rosy fingers' in them. No one talks like that outside of Greek myths in translation otherwise. I am also reading Empire of the Damned and The Tainted Cup at the moment. Enjoying both so far 🐺

That's always the example I think of too! I forever hear my professor's voice chanting "as Dawn arose, fresh and rosy-fingered" 😅 I'm feeling like the Hanged God series might improve with each instalment. Looking forward to reading more. Damned is currently going well, I'm very excited for The Tainted Cup soon so good to know you're liking it!
There are very few games that hold my ADHD attention Dragon Age, Pokémon, and Baulder's Gate 3 are basically it. I'll have to check out that book.

I know the feeling! I can replay DAO endlessly but so many other games I'm checking my phone every 5 mins looking for stimulus lol. Thankfully the Empire of the Wolf series could hold my attention easy, especially books 2 & 3, hopefully it's the same for you!
